This tool is absolutely amazing
I ordered a set of 5 stainless steel tools on here for roughly same price as this one and I would honestly say this single tool was much more "worth it" than the set. The material that it's made of is very high quality, it has a solid weight to it so you don't have to use as much pressure which is a huge hand saver, but the way this tool works the tissue as opposed to lesser quality tools is what really separates this product. It's much less harsh so it's easier to work with and you can feel the "grains" much better. The versatility of this tool is also worth noting! It's double beveled so you can work in both directions without having to flip the instrument, the curves, edges, and holes allow for a variety of different grips to hit different areas. It also comes with a nice anatomy book which also serves as an instruction manual. Overall 5/5

Wonderful tool at a great price!
We purchased this tool in order to offer additional techniques to the patients with soft tissue injuries. We have found it to be effective, and particularly like that you can apply various levels of pressure. It's a great multi-purpose tool for working on various areas of the body and the beveled edge is helpful for getting to deeper layers of soft tissue. The quality is excellent, made of solid medical grade stainless steel which makes it durable and easy to care for. It's not large or cumbersome, making it a convenient tool to both carry around and store. It comes with a zippered case for easy storage between uses. Given that there are multiple edges built into one tool, this releaser offers the benefit of not having to interchange between multiple tools. The price point for a multi-use tool is incredible - half of what other IASTM instruments cost. We are impressed with all aspects of the tool - quality, price, value, and performance. Highly recommended!

Excellent for Pain Relief, Range of Motion and recovery from injury .
I am not a medical professional. I was introduced to the Myofascial Releaser Ellipse two years ago by my Doctor of Physical Therapy. I had a total knee replacement revision. My PT used this to work on my leg muscles while I was recovering my strength and range motion. My recovery was very successful. Recently I had a fall and injured my shoulder and both my hands. I was able to observe the treatment I was getting with the Ellipse Pro. I asked a lot of questions about exactly my PT was doing and that was very educational. I began researching by watching "how to videos" and decided to order. The Myofascial Ellipse Pro included an excellent anatomy guide, that specifically informs the reader where you can use the tool and areas to avoid. I have achieved substantal pain relief and gotten back my range of motion. I use this tool for maintain and to quicken my recovery from injury. I also think it helps prevent injuries. The quality is top notch. Watch the videos and decide for yourself.

Love, Love, Love my IASTM Myofascial Release Tool!
Just got my Ellipse4 IASTM Myofascial Release Tool and I love, love, love it!. It feels great in my hand like a well made, high quality tool . It is ergonomically designed so that it is easy to use and manipulate. I also love how cost effective it is. It's an all-in-one tool! (no need to buy several different tools that would cost $$$$$$$ to get same effect, and its easy to clean as well). It makes life simpler and easier to be able to use just one tool with multi sides/edges to apply to any area on the body you might need it for. I can't stop saying how very impressed I am with how well made it is and easy to use. I've already used it on myself and my husband, and I can't wait to use this tool with my clients because I know how much they will benefit from it. Thank you, Thank you and Great job!

Excellent tool
I want to start with I highly recommend this tool. I purchased this tool for personal use on the recommendation of friend of mine who is a physical therapist. She taught me some techniques for use and I have watch several videos of professionals demonstrating the technique. So far the tool has worked fantastically. I have pretty tight calves and stretching and foam rolling alone have only gotten me so far. I run a fair bit so I am in constant need of TLC. Additionally, I have used the tool on my partners shoulders and have found that her mobility has begun to increase as we couple the treatment with stretching. The tool is very versatile having both a convex/concave age to sweep the muscle tissue and get more focused pressure, the smaller protrusions are great for working around the achilles and around the shoulder blade. I am still figuring out how to use the tool and find the holes to be both beneficial and a bit awkward depending on the edge I am trying to use. Additionally, the massage cream I use does make handling the tool a bit more difficult as it does get a bit greasy. I will say without the massage cream it is more uncomfortable to use. I am sure that the more I use the tool, the better I will be at using the tool and learn new techniques. The main reason I only gave four stars is that the website does not offer any technique videos for using their tool specifically. While i can watch videos about the Graston tools, this tool in particular has no set of techniques associated as put forth by the company. The website indicates they will be coming soon, but not sure how long that has been there nor the duration it will remain. Hope this helps.

Excellent Product/ Great Customer Service
I purchased this tool two years ago to use on scar tissue after carpal tunnel surgery. Had I known about this earlier and understood myofascia release earlier I wonder if I could have avoided this surgery. I am an RN by profession and not a physical therapist or massage therapist, however, having recently had breast cancer surgery and resultant chording. (AWS) as well as mild lymphoedema I have found this tool and the emollient very useful. I did not receive the accompanying book when I purchased the tool but an email to the company remedied that quickly. I was very impressed and appreciative of their quick response. For me , there has been a a small learning curve in using the tool (although it’s pretty intuitive) but it is solid, easy to hold and the different surfaces are useful in a variety of ways. The tool itself gliding over my skin amplifiers and helps me identify the areas of fascia I need to address . I hope this review is helpful for anyone with similar issues.

Perfect for anyone working in and around athletes and physical therapy patients.
I work with professional and national level athletes and I needed a tool to assist with myofascial release. One of my colleagues recommended Myofascial Releaser and even let me work a little with their tool. I immediately had to have one. The tool arrived about three days before it was scheduled to arrive. Which was very exciting. When I opened the case I could tell that the quality of the tool was very good. There was a nice weight to the tool and all of the edges were perfect. I really like the fact that it comes with a booklet and balm. The case is sturdy and very durable. I used it for the first time yesterday and my client felt immediate relief. The company truly made a great product. Also useful are the videos that the company has on their website. I recommend that all people check out these videos.

Love at First Scrape
Where to begin... I am a coach who works over 200 athletes each year (runners, wrestlers, sprinters, lacrosse, soccer, etc). I have been a big fan of Myofacial massage for years, but had mainly used foam rollers and many massages. Last year, I got a $5 tool which did the job but... was a lot of work for seemingly small results. When I saw the Ellipse tool, I knew I had to acquire it... and it did not disappoint. The difference was noticeable immediately. The shape of the tool fits beautifully along every muscle group: from calves to quads, from backs to achilles tendons... this tool has an edge that works perfectly. I can equally service my 250 pound heavy weight wrestler and my 89 pound distance girl. The tool also fits nicely into your hand. The three circles allow for easy gripping, especially when the tool is slippery. It is easy to find a comfortable position. The effectiveness is also amazing. With the other tool, I had to go over a muscle 10-12 times before redness would appear. With the Ellipse, I am getting petechiae after 4-5 passes. I actually had to change when I serviced my athletes, because the tool was too effective to be used close to races. It is safe to say I am a massive new fan and I hope to have this tool throughout the rest of my coaching career.
