I would say it was a bit more than 6mm thick. Seems robust enough for the price but not sure how well it will last. Had at least one knobbly fault in the length but have not tested this to see how it affects strength. There again you won't be ordering something this cheap if you want highest quality and known breaking strain.

This item arrived well on time and was well packaged 📦 for transit, its just what I was looking for, for a job in the garden there was None or Very little stretch in its length. And it was reasonably priced. 9/10
