Underground Toys Doctor Who Resin Doctor 4" Action Figure

This is a great replica of Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor Who. The 1:21 scale model is anatomically correct. I was so impressed with the fine detail of this figurine that I also purchased the 9th Doctor, and the 10th Doctor as well as some of their villains: The Sontaran General (potato-head man), Cyberman, and one of the Weeping Angels. BEWARE: Look for the figurines that are permanently mounted on a small black pedestal and show the 1:21 scale description on the upper right corner. "Wave One" also sells Doctor Who characters that sell for about 1/2 the cost of these and have moving arms and legs and are designed for a child to play with (5+ years). I did buy the 12th Doctor and Amy Pond from Wave One and they both have a strong resemblance to the characters they portray so I bought them anyway because I couldn't find Amy Pond in a scale model--and the 12th Doctor figurine was about $40--twice the price of some of the other characters in the series. I am a "Whovian"---on a budget, so I'll wait until he is reasonably priced so I can add him to my collection as well.

Very nice figurine, did take one start away because it is listed as an action figure, which to me suggests some level of poseability, which this doesn't have. It is a nice piece though.

This is a perfectly sculpted figure, very detailed. DO NOT open package, as the figure is delicate (other wise flawless)!

These will all go in my Dr Who garden. I love them.

Disappointed. Missed the review about how fragile it was...the package was torn open when I got it and the figure fell out, right on to the floor, and his head broke off on impact. the paint job is kind of shabby too. For $3 I guess I got what I paid for, but still disappointing.
