The SOCAL-LED 2pcs LED Load Resistors are essential for anyone looking to install LED bulbs without triggering error messages or hyper flashing. With a power rating of 50W and 8ohm resistance, these resistors ensure smooth operation of your turn signals. Worked fine for reverse bulbs
Used these on my 2018 Buick Regal Tourx for reverse bulb. Wanted LED lights in there, but installing them caused the reverse light to stay on all the time-- evidently the BCM expects an incandescent-like load on them, so a load resistor seemed like an easy way out.I chose 10 ohm, 25W for two reasons: The stock bulb is a 920 size incandescent which draws about 15 watts. At 14 volts (assuming vehicle is running), the resistor placed in parallel with the LED will draw about 19 watts. So 10 ohms might be a little overkill, but they're readily available, whereas higher resistance load resistors are not. 19 watts is awfully close to the 25W rating of the resistor, which means they will get HOT if used continuously. Not really a concern here, as reverse lights are used for short duration, perhaps a couple minutes max.It worked fine, LED lights work, they come on and off when they're supposed to. Good value, nothing about them made me skeptical of quality. The splice connectors are cheap junk, I chose to solder and use heat shrink wrap at every connection.

Great price and they WORK! 2015 Tacoma with after market LED taillights
I was worried that these wouldn’t solve my LED light problem I had after I bought after market taillights for my 2015 Tacoma.. Well these absolutely solved the Hyper flash problem. They are very easy to install .. took me less than 20mins to install on both sides . They work and that’s all I care about.. now I’m not sure how long they will last .. but so far I’m so relieved and happy.

Mostly as advertised.
Bought these to replicate the power draw of a 5 watt halogen bulb in my older Lexus. They did work as advertised and seem to work fine. They do get hot however, so be careful where you mount them.

Work nicely for 1998 Honda Accord LED brake lights.
I got these cause I got LED brake lights for my 1998 Honda Accord.Since they only used 3 watts, my car thought that the lights had failed, and so I had a "Brake Lamp" light on my dashboard.Eventually I got annoyed of not having a clean dashboard, so I ordered these to fix it. (Original brake lights take 21 watts, if anyone needs to know)It was a little hard to install them, as the mounting screws I got would not fit past the cooling fins of the resistor. So I used my dremmel with a cutting disc as a grinding/sanding disc. Filing down the cooling fin near the screw mount so that I could securely mount it to the car's frame.I also put some heat reflecting tape on the trunk liner, as I had melted a hole into it with a previous attempt. (Also why I mounted it down this time)So far, about 2 months in, it's working fine. The brake lights are still as bright as they were before. There hasn't been any issues with them cutting out, and the failure light hasn't come back on.If ever they do get loose, I'll crimp some male and female connectors into the system, so that they can be removed in the future if needed, in case they ever need to be replaced, or a future owner wants to go back to incandescent bulbs. For now though, they're perfectly fine.

Good value
Easy to install, however it did not come with any instructions for installation. I was replacing one of another brand that had a broken wire so no instructions was not a problem but could be for someone installing for the first time. The price was very good for a pack of two.

Check the fit
No possible way to make this work for my 23 Suburban with the 921 reverse light. Nothing like a factory to be able to lock in place so if you can actually make it work, there will be no way to lock the bulbs into place in the housing.

Works great
Used this in a Honda, 2 Fords, and Buick. 25 watt is all you need. Use these for LED signal bulbs and 25 watts is all you need. Regular incandescent bulb is around 27-28 watts vs. An LED is around 3 watts if you get brighter ones. I always put the resistors on sub-frame with #6 self tapping screws because the get quiet hot rather quickly. T taps included its an easy add on.

Buy the right wattage first 🙄
I bought the 25 w 10ohm first but didn’t solve my problem but took a risk with the 50w 8ohm option and sorted the hyper flashing! Easy to fit but out of trial and error, I now know that 25w will work replacing 5w side repeater bulb but if it’s a 21w bulb, you will have to get the 50w. I had now issues with refund on the first order.
