Yasutomo Nori Paste Jar 1.84 oz

I have never used this style of paste before. Upon research this is what I decided on to glue an unstretched piece of flat canvas to a board, so that it could be placed into a floating frame. This paste worked perfectly. It was easy to apply, however with the size of my canvas I did need another set of hands to hold down the damp areas while I quickly finished applying the rest. I thinned it out slightly by using a wet brush for my application process. I found that using the wet brush made application much smoother. This did not soak through nor wrinkle the canvas and dried quickly, but not so quickly that I could not adjust the canvas into position before it was set.

good product for woodblock printing, the jar is really small i will buy a much larger size next time.

This paste is great for gluing paper. It’s very light and it holds well. It doesn’t dry immediately so you can tinker with the positioning. It’s not as messy as other paste.

This glue has been a game-changer for our Montessori-inspired activities with our small kids. While the quality is excellent, the jar size is quite small. Although the glue works wonders for various projects, especially for crafting and art activities, opting for a larger jar would be more cost-effective in the long run. Overall, it’s a reliable and versatile glue that adds value to our educational endeavors with the kids. Highly recommended for any Montessori homeschooling or crafting projects!

works well on paper of all different weights and doesn't leave a residue.

I think this is old stock and there was a layer of set up paste on top of the contents. I haven't broken through that to see if the rest of it is still good. It could still be good.
