Father’s Day gift
Daddy was due for a new grill. He picked it out and he did good. The grill is massive made our smoker look tiny. Great product, seemed to be an easy assembly my 10 year old helped build it. The style of the grill is nice and performs great. Worth it and he deserved a nice upgrade.

Quality
The quality is incredible. Solid built and very easy to assemble, I used the same day, seared ribeye took 3 minutes a side at 500 degrees above that was 135 degrees internal temp perfect crust on the outside. Adjustable charcoal shelf makes for perfect temp control. BUY BUY BUY, amazing price and great product .

Great Grill
A few dings on the grill when it arrived but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a mallet and some love. Best charcoal grill I've used. It's the second one I've bought of this model.

A Solid Grill with mods
Looking at the reviews I was getting a bit hesitant on this one, specifically about the construction and sheet metal used. I decided to buy it because I needed something to replace my old Oklahoma Joe knock off I purchased some 8 years ago and simply wanted something new and easier to clean.Assembly:Assembly wise the hardest part was getting it out of the box. I was able to put it together solo (despite the instructions saying to do otherwise). I will admit it would have been a bit easier to lift the body and place it onto the wheel frame with a second person but I managed.I would also say don't lose a single part, the parts they give you are the exact number of parts you will need to put it together, no extras provided.I did have an issue where a screw hole weld broke, it was on one of the side shelf wings, but a simple bolt and nut easily fixed the problem. The Main Body and the lid are a single solid peice that is decently put together. I find the material used on it to be of decent quality and is far stronger and thicker than my old pit was. That said, shipping seems rough on these. Mine arrived upside down and I believe this to attribute to some of the overall issues I had with lid and body alignment and a few bent metal parts that where easy enough to bend back into place. Basically you may need to knock on it a bit with a hammer.Seeing other reviews that it leaks a lot, I used some simple gaskets to cover the lid, the fire box lid, and the dampeners and that greatly reduced the leaking, I'd say it is about 98% leak free now. This was a bit of a surprise at how easy it was to reduce the leaking.I also used Food Grade Sealant to seal the temperature sensor, but that did not leak for me anyway.Temperature Control:During the seasoning I was able to get it up to over 400 degrees into the 500 degree mark and keep it there for about 6 hours. Which is much better than my old one that would drop in temperature after about 2-3 hours. This was also before I put the gaskets on the dampeners which are VERY loose in my opinion. A thin gasket helped seal them up a lot and with no need to change screws.Ease of CleanSo far cleaning it is much easier than my old grill. Just pulling out the ash tray and toss it out.Access to Fire Box:Getting to the charcoals is so much easier with this than my old Okalahoma knockoff. The firebox lid is one easy access point, but the grills themselves are designed to slide around so you do not have to take them off to add new coals (though you may have to move your food around).OverallUltimately it is light years a head of my old Grill for a decent price even with the gasket and Food Grade Sealant modifications.

Well worth it!
I was looking at many different types of grills and I kept coming back to this one. I was a little concerned with some of the negative reviews but decided to go with it and I love it. It is true that it had many parts but it was not hard to put together. Three of my kids (between ages of 13 and 8) took turns reading the instructions and put most of it together. I just made sure that things were tightened enough and of course placing the pit on top of the legs. It took us about three hours (but I could have done it in about 1.5 hours myself) to put it together. After that, I seasoned the grills, door, let it burn for the recommended time, and grilled some pork steaks that night. They were fantastic!Pros:Open the door and put more coals in instead of having to lift the grill like I use to do.Use the crank to move the coal rack up and down.Easy to control the heat.Heavy duty and well made.Ash trayCons:So far, I was unable to get the coals to stop burning even after closing all the vents. Not a big deal to me.The left corner of the ash try was bent and the paint was chipped when I opened the package and got everything out. From what I can tell, it was probably from a fork lift as there was a whole in the lower front corner of the box. I called customer service and they sent me a new tray, no questions asked. I strongly recommend this item.

Can cook for two, but made for a soccer team!
Probably the easiest grill I have ever assembled. Once you get the racks seasoned, this grill is ready for huge events for season after season. I really like the addition of the bottle opener.. I know it's small but you would be surprised how many people think that is just an awesome feature for a grill. Definitely have two folks to lift the package, but once ready, it rolls super easy and very simple and light to lift one side at a time if you have a small step up to your patio. I will try to post a picture soon, but it looks great under our pergola and everything that has come off it has been fantastic. The heat isn't as easy to control as a "Big Green Egg," but that's really not what it's made for. The cooking space is ridiculous. This thing is not made for a couple wanting a couple ribeyes on Friday night, it's made for cooking hotdogs and hamburgers for a soccer team lol. So far, I have cooked perfectly heated steaks (4 total), I've done chicken wings, chicken legs, and of course, hot dogs and hamburgers. If you know how to control heat on a typical grill.. you really won't have trouble here.. this think is well designed.
