If you are able to get this on your squirming hamster it does work( for a Syrian anyway) the only thing is the way it’s made a long piece of cord sticks out underneath the master making it more difficult for your hamster to walk comfortably. Even though my hamster did not appreciate me putting this on or taking it off her she loved the little walk we did outside!

It very cute and I understand the concept but it is so hard to get on my daughters hamster. I have yet to use it.

Purchased for my son's hamster. I love it, they do not. What I'm saying is, you too can traumatize your Syrian hamster and your child with one easy purchase from Amazon. But if it was on her list of things she's willing to do, it would be great. It takes a bit getting used to trying to put it on a squirming rodent. I'm willing to try again.. I just need her compliance.

the leash is pretty short, probably best for a small child.

Cute for a photo or video but not for conventional use. It kept falling of my teddy bear hamster

My granddaughter has an extremely friendly and loveable dwarf hamster. She lets her walk her on this leash and it's really cute. My granddaughter is 10 and very gentle. I would not let a child who is much younger than that have it as I think they could use it wrong and choke the poor critter accidently.

The media could not be loaded.  Incredible cute. It has a bell on it which makes the walking factor even more adorable. May need some adjusting on your little one but this is pretty good. I feel like the “leash” should be a little bit longer. Overall it’s really cute! 💕
