This stuff is great and really works if you need to get your iron and ferritin levels up. I had really bad hair shedding issues because of low ferritin and tried several different types of iron supplements before stumbling across ironsmart brand. This product boosted my ferritin levels from 20 to over 100 in a period of about six months. Major difference in energy levels and my hair has stopped shedding and is finally growing back in. Helpful to take on an empty stomach with vitamin c and lysine to improve absorption. Wait an hour before eating anything else. Hope this helps. I struggled for a good two years before figuring this out. Doctors were useless when it came to my iron problems.

I love this formula. It is the only formula I have taken that works quickly. I got my levels up in a week, but I was taking more than the suggested amount due to my extreme anemia (1 tablespoon 3 times a day). I recommend it to anyone that has iron deficiency anemia.The only thing I do not like about the liquid formula is that it is extremely sweet because of the agave. This seems to be hard on my teeth, so I am needing to brush afterwards to get the sugar off of my teeth. Still, I give it 5 starts. The pills formula should prevent this problem.

I'm so disappointed! I bought Ironsmart once before and it tasted fabulous. I just ordered it for the second time and the taste is terrible. It tastes extremely metallic and almost hard to swallow. I'm wondering if I got a bad bottle? I'm really upset I unfortunately have to throw this one away.

All I can say right now is, this iron supplement is the most delicious thing ever! It certainly makes taking my iron a pleasure. I hope my hair condition and energy improve over time and my labs show the difference next month. Then I will for sure purchase more.

This seller is either hit or miss with the expiration dates. This is my 7th bottle that I’ve ordered from this seller. Out of those 7 bottles only 4 were fresh enough for the liposomes to be effective. The other 3 bottles were older and had a black sediment at the bottom. Which is obviously the iron leaking from the liposomal bubble. This is an expensive supplement and I may need to buy from another source if I continue to receive your older stock.

I wound up not really using it because it was so hard to get the cap off the bottle. I got sick of fighting with it each morning, and then I had to throw it out because it went beyond the recommended expiration. I wish they'd do a better job with that cap because I feel like I wasted my money and with my hemoglobin count being 8, I really could've used this product.

I find this is the best liquid iron. It has a caramel taste instead of a metal taste like other liquid irons

Love it . It has done wonders for me. I was prescribed the red iron pills I don't remember the name of them but I was put on one of those a day then up-dosed to two a day and then three a day because I have iron deficiency anemia . They would hurt my stomach and make me throw up, My doctor pretty much ignored my complaints. I was actually suposed to have iron injections but again my doctor wouldn't recommend or refer my to a hematologist even though he has said I would need to see one. I have taken this for almost a mount now and it is working I still do get fatigued but I don't have to take a nap in the middle of the day everyday anymore. I have a little more energy and I can start working out again soon so I'm really happy about it.

Having been borderline anemic, I tried those drug store iron pills, and omg, they are so hard on your stomach, if you do take those pills, get the lower dose and eat with food - literally in the middle of eating - not before food, I'm sure after eating is fine too. Anyways, I tried this liquid iron and it did not irritate my stomach and therefore was able to get my iron levels up. And this price is half of what I paid in the local health food store in my town. Oh, the flavor is vanilla-y, a little medicinal, but chase it with whatever and it's all good.
