Cap Barbell Medicine Ball

My wife is a personal trainer and ordered a couple 10 lb CAP medicine balls for her classes. They arrived in two days and in great condition, no problem there whatsoever. But, after just six months of use, two of the balls broke within a week of each other. Now, the price of these balls is very competitive and they are a good deal but if they only last six months, I think we may want to invest in more expensive options in the future. I don't believe there s a way for me to return these items for replacement or refund. If I were to have bought these at the local sporting goods store, I am sure I could complain and get some relief. The downside of ordering online I guess.

I bought 7 of the 12# about 6 months ago for use in a commercial facility and I've been really happy with them. We don't use them every day, but when they are used, they're thrown around a lot. We do a lot of wall ball and they are perfect for it. I especially like the exterior surface--great for grip so you don't smash your face when catching the ball. It's a good value product.

This ball is a waste of money and time! Just bought it and started to inflate it and suddenly I heard a pop! Bang! The ball exploded! Don't buy this! This is a warning! This is the first time I am disappointed buying things from Amazon. I hope Amazon does quality control in the products they sell....

Complete waste of money. The first time I tried to inflate it, it burst! At first I thought I overinflated it, but once I examined the seams I realized that it was very poorly made and it was going to break one way or another. They have to rename it "crap ball"

I purchased the 6 ball set which includes weights of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 pounds. Relatively quickly, the 8, 10, and 12 pound medicine balls have each split in half. The lighter balls get very little, if any usage, therefore rendering this set a complete waste of money.In attempting to contact Cap Barbell I found that their answering machine was not that of a professional company, but a barely audible recording on what sounded like a home voicemail box from 1992, left by a woman with a very unprofessional manner of speaking. Attempts to e-mail the company resulted in similar disappointment. An employee of the company using a generic e-mail address and no identification wrote back a 2 line e-mail filled with spelling, grammar, capitalization, and punctuation mistakes informing me they would not replaced the damaged balls.Save your money and use it for a product that doesn't break so quickly, and with a company that will help you.

We purchased the Cap 4 lb. medicine ball. The first time we took it outside to use it, the ball exploded. We received a replacement ball and the same thing happened to that ball. A bubble formed on the outside wall, then it split open. We had not inflated the ball any more than it was when we received it. This ball is a poorly made product.

2 of the 6 balls lost air quickly. The balls don't air up with the same feel as they come from Cap. There is a fine line in airing up ball correctly and ball exploding. Cap does not have a "recommended" psi nor will they replace the product or acknowledge any request. Poor product.
