Nellie's is awesome! This is a great product. There is no scent, it cleans exceptionally well. I was trying to transition away from the heavy plastic bottles into a more ecofriendly solution. I had tried the laundry sheets, but the quality was inconsistent at best. Things were never clean and had a greasy feel. I tried Nellie's and I have never looked back. This is my 5th purchase. I have gotten both the tins and the 200 load sizes. Tins can be a little hard to open, but not too badly. This soap really cleans the grease spots from my clothing, even without pretreating. I've now started exploring their other products.

I love this detergent. I have used it for 4+ years. My clothes come clean. They smell clean without perfume!!!I admit, It doesn’t remove grease stains. But a drop or two of Dawn dish washing liquid applied directly to the spot - and my clothes are clean!!!This product is economical. I use one tablespoon of this dry detergent powder for a medium Size load. Dissolves well. I now buy it in a bag to refill the metal Nellie’s container that I bought 4 years ago.This is a terrific product!!’

Due to skin sensitivities I need fragrance free laundry detergent and due to my own preference I prefer a natural product. A laundry influencer mentioned Nellie's in passing and I'm so glad they did. I used it for the first time yesterday and I love how my laundry came out. One load was washed in hot water and one load was washed in cold water and there was no problem with the laundry soap dissolving in either. It's a fine powder so it dissolved quickly and rinsed away completely. There was absolutely no residue left on my clothes or bedding. It is fragrance free so my laundry smells super fresh and clean without fragrance. In fact everything was soft coming out of the wash. Nothing looks faded, my whites and colors look bright. And it was totally easy to use I just put 2 tablespoons (my loads were large) in the drum of the washer and let it go to work. And the metal tin is great (the lid is a little hard to get off but at least you don't have to worry about it flying off and your products spilling) , no cumbersome plastic jug to carry and now that I've tried it I can buy one of the larger vats of Nellies's and just refill this tin as needed. I could not be happier with this purchase.

Love, Love, Love this Washing Soda!! We should all be concerned about the ingredients we wash our clothes in. With only 4 ingredients I was thoroughly impressed. You use so much less and my clothes were spotlessly clean and fresh. They care about the environment and our health. I can’t believe it took me so long to find Nellie’s Products! I will NEVER use any other product to wash my clothes in. I have also used Nellie’s Oxygen Brightener, which is also fabulous and has only 4 ingredients. What Lovely Laundry Products. Initially skeptical, I am mightily impressed by the way this powder works on clothes. I like that they come our fresh and soft and actually smell 'natural' rather than infused with a chemical odor thats supposed to be pleasant.I like that not much needs to be used for each was. The front-loading machine shows MUCH less residue after a wash too. Another win factor.But...... BUT.... the stupid tin this stuff comes packaged in is a complete PITA. Impossible to get open easily, it requires brute strength to lift the lid. Very VERY tight. Very VERY unnecessarily tight. So tight that in manouvering it I have spilled some powder onto the floor/countertop every single time. I should not need a lever to prise the lid off. No-one should! My wife couldn't open it because of weakness in her grip. The manufacturers have NOT thought about the elderly or disabled in designing the packaging. At ALL! Sure the tin looks pretty, but it's utterly impractical in everyday use. We ended up decanting all the contents into a screw lid jar.I will recommend this to anyone, albet with a strong caveat about the useless tin.

Very effective detergent. No funky smells,Just plain clean clothes.
