A Great Hub Attached To The Underside Of A Shelf
I have a 24” monitor with a micro-edge display on 3 sides where there’s no bezel to mount this on, and I wasn’t going to clamp it against the screen. There is a ¾” high frame along the bottom side of the screen, but the back of the monitor behind this area is convex, and the clamp can’t be mounted to an area where the back of the monitor is rounded. I purchased this because I could mount it directly in front of me, so I didn’t want to clamp it to the edge of the desk after I discovered it couldn’t be attached to my monitor. So I clamped it to a 3.25” x .4” x .5” piece of wood that I screwed to the underside of a shelf that’s located right above the top of the monitor. I’m glad I couldn’t attach it to my monitor because this turned out to be a much better option. The ports on this hub are snug, and if it was mounted to my monitor, I know I’d have to hold the monitor steady to prevent it from moving every time I attached and removed devices from the hub. I’d also be concerned about damaging my expensive ultra-thin monitor because it takes a fair amount of force to insert and remove devices from these snug ports.By clamping it to a piece of wood that I screwed to the underside of the shelf, it’s firmly mounted, it doesn’t budge, it’s directly in front of me, I only need one hand to plug devices into the ports and pull them out, and I don’t have to be careful or worry about the force being placed on my little block of wood. The entire hub is housed in metal, and it appears solid and well made. I purchased this 15 months ago and thus far it has performed flawlessly.

Super handy!
I just got a height adjustable standing desk, but my PC sits on the floor and doesn't raise up or down with the desk. Having just ONE cord having to reach the CPU instead of multiples is so handy, and this clips onto the back of my desk and is mostly out of sight. The adjustable screw for clamping to a desktop is handy, and it's worth noting that the rubber grip at the end of the screw does unscrew from the screw itself, so be careful while adjusting as it may fall off. It's so easy to put back on, it's not an issue for me. In fact, I like that it's removable in case I wanted a little extra room to clamp to a thicker surface. The only con is the USB cord it came with is pretty short for my use. It's maybe 2 feet or so? maybe less? I had a USB extender cable though, so it was no big deal. I think if your CPU sat on the desk, or your desk doesn't raise/lower, the length of cord this came with might be fine.Overall 5 stars because it looks great, everything works fine that's plugged into it, and it was a cinch to install.

Pretty good, unless you have an iMac
Seems like a pretty nice little unit, but it's not going to go on an imac. The sloped sides work poorly with the clamp, and in the case of an imac pro, it can't even tighten enough to get a grip. Still working on a suitable solution to mod it to work (adding spacers, etc) but beyond a certain point it just gets hacky. That said, definitely works well on the monitor I use with my laptop, and the format is a decent way to add ports to a table. Dinged it for a point because the add copy sure LOOKS like it's supposed to be iMac friendly, but otherwise it's pretty solid.

Works Perfectly, Definitely Saves My Sanity
Bought this for my desk (which my daughter is working from at the moment with the whole school/COVID/tele-learning thing that is happening for us). There are a number of devices plugged into it (a selfie light to use for being on camera for school and work, a laptop cooling pad for a 17" laptop, a spare USB Micro Cable (for charging wireless ear buds when needed), and a spare USB C Cable (for charging phones when needed). It sits out of the way, on the back end of the computer desk. Everything plugged in nice and confidently. I did notice that when everything is up and running and in use, the phone gives me a message that the charging is slow. It still charges, but fast charging is not available. I overlook this, not a huge deal as it still charges and is not my primary means to charge my phone, only need to the phone on a tripod during meetings or conferences. The set up is dead easy. My outlet is pretty close (something like 3 feet away) so there were no issues with getting it plugged in. The workmanship of this thing is very, very good. Very durable and the clamp is very strong and durable as well. It opens up pretty wide, so there were absolutely no issues with me getting this thing in the right place. Overall, very, very happy with this, and glad I bought it. It is definitely taking care of a lot of problems at the moment and I will without a doubt be purchasing another once we get a few more options for the kids to have their own workstations.
