Incredible.
I bought these bulbs through a different company but the results were the same.I had replaced my 9006 bulbs that were silverstar ultras on my 2010 charger. The modification of the bulb was super easy with a pair of nail clippers. And took me all of five minutes. I wore new gloves to prevent my oils from getting on the bulbs. The passenger side went in super easy and was done in just a couple minutes. The driver side...was a whole other story. The clip was cut down to perfect size but the brackets from a 9006 and 9012 are different. As you can see the 9012 makes a L sort of a shape where as the 9006 plugs straight in. The workable space of the where to plug my headlight in was uneven on the driver side, meaning the 9012 connection rubbed against the wall of the headlight bracket or housing. The bulb fit by itself but with the power plugged in there was just too little of space. So I took another approach and pretty much ghetto rigged and jammed it til it stuck after trying to make it work for 2 hours. It seems to have held up fine and hasn't moved and I've been on bumpy roads and through storms. Now for the actual light review.Simply incredible. Night and day difference. While the light emitted may not be as white as the silver stars, this light projects further, wider, and higher than them. I can read road signs on the freeway with ease, I can see to the sides of my car and down the road multiple car lengths further. I will absolutely buy again.I attached one picture. You be the judge. You can tell which shows more on the road.

Correct lampbulbs wattage for my 2016 Fiat 500x four door.
These are the correct headlamp bulbs for my 2016 Fiat 500x four door vehicle per the vehicle's user manual. The correct wattage for this car's headlamp bulbs is 55w.Last week I bought the "Philips HIR2 ll 12v 65w", which is the incorrect wattage for this vehicle but I thought I would try them anyway because I could not find the correct wattage bulbs at my local vehicle parts store. My thoughts are that the 65 watt bulbs were taxing the lighting system. Additionally, the bulb's plastic tabs will not fit properly, so I trimmed the tabs but the fit was not adequate and the bulbs because loose. I also found that the 65 w bulbs were possibly draining the electrical system because my dashboard became dim when I turned on my headlights.I found and bought the correct bulbs that are listed in the user manual here in Amazon, which are the "Philips 9012 HIR2 55w" bulbs. These screw into the light housing perfectly and my dashboard no longer is dimmed. And recently I had a $4,200.00 electrical module and wiring harness job completed, so I did not want to damage the system, so it is best to use the correct bulbs. The headlights now work perfectly.

Good for older Honda Civic
The Philips 9012 HIR2 headlight bulbs are a good option for my 1988 Honda Civic automobile. They are brighter than the standard bulbs. I change them every four years, to ensure that no bulb ever burns out, unexpectedly.

Good bulbs, but a little overpriced
These 9012's went right into my 2003 Honda Accord headlights with about 10 seconds of modification. I used a pair of tin snips to match the 9012 and 9006 bulb plastic to be the same. You can find more info on that by Googling "9012 bulb modification" and click the first link from Candlepower. The output is definitely noticeable, but I can't get over the fact that these are so expensive. I've used HIDs in 90% of my vehicles (which are similarly priced), and these are no where near as bright as HIDs. Since the 03 Accord doesn't have projectors, I wanted to steer clear of HIDs. I assumed these bulbs wouldn't be as bright as the HIDs, but I wanted something that was near OEM, so the 9012 bulb was the way to go.

saved me a trip
Sat in my chair.Ordered the bulb on Amazon.Arrived in one day.Took about one minute to cut open package AND install.Saved me a trip to the mechanic. This is the easiest repair/replace I have ever done on any headlight.Like the bulb burnout never even happened.

Great buy!
Fully satisfied with the product though it wasn't made in Germany but functions just the same.
