Carbon Express Nockturnal Archery Lighted Nocks Installation and Removal Tool

I am in no way a Pro bow guy, but I do like to do as much of my own setup as possible. I just got into recurve after decades of compound shooting. That meant cutting my own arrows, tuning them, ect. I bought this item for my first recurve bow and have found that I use it for all my arrows now!. The only reason I give it 4 stars on Accuracy is I have had to reapply the tool after the fact to fix a few arrows. It is very easy to use and works very well. I inspect all arrows after they are cut and as I said, I have only had a few issues that were quickly fixed by reapplying this tool.I am very happy with this item and would recommend it to anyone getting into bow setup.Rob NC

I was very disappointed at first. But I was able to make everything work good. First of all, one of the Threads on the bits was sized wrong. And it could not tighten in the bit holder. Then two of the bits did not fit snugly into the proper sized arrow shafts. I would call it sloppy, which I’m sure would affect the quality of its work. I wrapped tape on the bits to snug them up. And now two of them fit good. I think it’s evident that this kit was just thrown together with no testing or quality control. I used it by hand on 12 arrows which started with nicely cut ends. I did not feel the need for a power drill. It worked fine. And I saw no unreasonable wear on the sanding disc. So I used one working bit by hand on a few more arrows.. the threads striped. It seems that this fit was also sloppy. So sloppy that the connection stripped from mild hand work. Enough is enough. Return and refund time.

Looking at it, I did not quite understand how it would true the end of the carbon arrow shaft. I found some videos that showed that the shiny metal disc has an abrasive side. Then it made more sense. Using the tool was easy. It can be used by turning with your fingers or S L O W L Y turning with a power drill. It does a wonderful job in squaring-up the end of the arrow shaft. When I installed my inserts, they mated perfectly to the end of the arrow. I highly recommend this product!

Not sure if it was the bit or the disc with sandpaper, but mine was not straight. I ended up purchasing a FAST tool and while it was double the price, it worked perfectly and will last for a long time.

Quick & easy squaring and you don't need to use a drill. Slide it into the shaft with the correct shaft size mandrel and spin with a slight bit of pressure with your fingers for a nice clean squaring of the shaft end.

had to file the burr off the inside of the arrow after cutting to get the guide tip in but it works super good. Has a fine and corse side. Has 3 adapter size tips. Fit 500 carbon arrows.

I did not understand all how to put this product together. There were no directions and I did not think I had the right component parts. Turns out that I think I did and I believe it will do the job.

Used this on 2 sets of easton FMJ 250 spine. 24 arrows total so far. It does a fine job of getting a true end after cutting.

IT WAS SO OXIDIZED IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS SITTING IN SOMEONENES GAGARAGE FOR 20 YEARS. tHAT IS WHERE THEY ALSO FOUND THE MATERIAL TO 'BUILD' IT.
