Travelon Laundry Soap Sheets, 50-Count

Small and very practical. I travelled for a month and I was able to wash the odd item whenever I needed to. It does the job! I was able to wash tops, pants and underwear in the hotel sink and hang-dry. I filled the sink with water, dipped my clothing and used a single leaf of soap. The soap disintegrates very fast. I left my clothes to soak for a short while, then washed and rinsed. The soap sheets were odorless and left my clothes clean. I don’t recommend washing too many clothes at the one time with a single sheet. I washed about two garments at a time and these soap sheets did the job.

I ordered this product to use on an upcoming trip. So far I'm pleased about the size of the product packaging, which is about 1 3/4" x 2 1/2", so it won't take up a lot of room in the suitcase. There are 50 very thin laundry soap strips in the container, more than enough for hand washing a few items. I did a trial run to determine how well they worked before packing them. You use one or two sheets, dissolve them in the water, and wash your items. The laundry soap strips dissolved quickly, worked well, and they smell clean and fresh.

Overall, it worked just fine. A clean, subtle scent. I felt like I had to use multiple pieces to get things actually clean though. Not great for bigger laundry days, but for general upkeep here and there, it worked awesome! I traveled through Europe with a friend and these really helped us out. We did use a powder detergent to wash our bigger loads on wash days though. I don't know if this would have really worked for that.

These are small, lightweight and work well to wash out clothes when traveling. I mostly travel to see wildlife , luggage allowances can be quite strict and access to laundry facilities limited. I use these flakes to wash out my clothes as I go. They have been very useful. Just important to use dry fingers to remove them from the case as getting the sheets wet will cause them to fuse together .

Honestly, I wanted to love this a lot but I don’t think it works in practice. The biggest issue is that when your hands are dirty, there is not always a guarantee that they will be done dry for you to take one individual sheet out of this pack. This meant that while traveling, in my hotel sink, I had to lay out some tissue papers and put individual sheets down on them to be able to use later. Even that system failed horribly because once you touch one sheet, even if you accidentally get a drop of water on another sheet, that sheet then becomes useless. So I think the product is good in theory but not in practice. It needs better packaging and perhaps a system where it dispenses after pressing on a lever or a button. I think that might make the product 100% more useable!

This came in SO handy during my 2-week vacation to Europe! I was making lots of different stops during the 2 weeks, to places with different types of weather. So packing was going to be difficult. Rather than overload, I brought layers, and with these laundry soap sheets was able to wash clothes in the sink so that I had just the right clothes for all the different places I went. A couple of tips: - Be careful to have dry fingers when you get the soap sheets out of the container, or they'll all start melting! - I found it was best to apply the sheet directly to the clothing, rather than to the water. This got the clothes cleaner and smelling fresh faster and with a fewer number of soap sheets needed to get the job done. - Keep the packet of unused soap sheets in a dry pocket or other place where they will be separate from 'wet' items. Steam, drips, or other perspiration could cause the unused sheets to start melting before you're ready.

These little soaps are so handy for washing items when you're traveling. I try to not pack too much with the idea of re-wearing items but when it is hot, it is helpful to be able to wash items by hand in the hotel sink instead of packing extra and hauling around stinky, sweaty clothes. I like that these are not liquid, take up such a small amount of space and don't smell too strongly. I have sensitive nose and I don't recall these having a strong or unpleasant scent. I highly recommend if you're trying to travel with just carry on luggage.

Doesn’t seem to lather very much. It’s good for a spot stain but it would take several sheets to wash undies.

during a two week vacation we had an incident at dinner and these sheets came in so handy. 2 sheets in the hotel sink did the trick to get the shirt clean! I was shocked at how well they worked. They should be a staple in any travel bag.

I travel a lot in Canada and to Europe. Going on longer vacation I need to do small laundry without using hotel service for this. It is very expansive. Purchasing the laundry soap sheets changed the way I do small laundry when on vacation. The product is very small in size, so you can even put it in your purse or backpack without adding more weight,. It is handy, reasonable prized and such a brilliant idea. I recommended it to my friends. From now on I will carry this small container on all my travel adventures. Excellent product.

I bought these for a 3 week road trip. They take up hardly any space and my laundry came out smelling fresh. No complaints at all, 10/10.

I was slightly disappointed to find out that this is a hand washing soap product. However it’s still useful.
