BRIGHT! Convenient.
Originally bought the bigger one because this one seemed too small, but large was too bright for my 20 gallon sump. (Easy return through Kohls.) After getting the ON timing adjusted, the Chaeto growth has been phenomenal. I have to remove half every month!The bracket configuration didn't match my particular refugium setup, so I put plastic 'egg crate' over the top and the light sits nicely on that. The cord is thinner than pump cords so the light can easily be moved out of the way when working in the sump. The ON/OFF switch on the plug adds to that convenience.All in all, a great investment for my reef.

Decently bright
It is a very bright light, no heat, great color. Have chaeto coming soon, will see how it growsI have chaeto in there, but really don't see as much growth as when I had used a standard compact flourescent. I am battling hair algae in the tank and I was hoping this would compete moreEdit 2022: light didn't do well especially in a humid area, its not really designed for salt water

Stopped working about 8 months after I bought it.
I bought this light and it worked great while it was working. All the sudden for no reason at all. At about 8 months it just stopped working. It won't turn on or produce any light. Nothing, doesn't work anymore. I put out the money to get the best product and it just doesn't work. Very disappointed. Having trouble figuring out how to get a refund.

Good light, cheaply built.
Over all I think this is a good light for the price. My small complaint about it is the seemingly cheap construction and the assembly instructions were lacking in one or two small details.I have not owned this light long enough to judge its ability to grow chaeto, but I will update in a few weeks to report.Update: The chaeto I've been growing seems to be doing well under this light. So far no issues with the light itself.

It grows your refugium
I have this set on my reef tank refugium and the chato is growing like mad. I just had to figure a way to hook it up above the sump and not let it get wetHighly recommend.

Light failed after 2 weeks of use
It’s a simple light but I noticed it flickering, took a look, and realized half of the LEDs are out. I’ve been impressed by other IM products - this one is super junky. Will try to get help from customer service but didn’t even open the box until return window closed - lesson learned

Great light.
Great light. Perfect for growing macro algae. Used on my biocube 32gallon back chamber. Kind of pricey for an led light but it does what it's supposed to do.
