When in the closed position it measures about 20 inches tall. The handle area is about 8.5 inches wide and the footer is 6 inches wide. Functions well, as expected.It telescopes up and down with ease and comes with everything needed to install. It is made of thick aluminum alloy metal.Package include:1pcs Suitcase Telescopic Handle, 6pcs Pointed Screws, 4pcsFlat Head Screws, 4pcs Nuts, 4pcsGaskets, 1pcs Screwdriver.It is intended for a cloth or fabric 20" piece of luggage. It is not designed to fit a hard shell luggage.I knocked one star off for the price. While it is cheaper than buying a new luggage, this replacement handle costs more than comparable ones.

Absolute POS! The length was ok but nothing else fit right. Screws and all hardware too short and all plastic parts were out of alignment. 2 1/2 hrs later I did get it installed but will NEVER use this brand again.

*UPDATE* Well, here it is July 2023. The handle lasted about 25 trips and broke while deplaning at 1am. The $80 suitcase I’ve had for 15 years still has life left in it, not sure I can justify spending another $40 for a replacement handle if it’s only going to last seven months. The cost of two handles is equal to the cost of the bag. At best, this should be about $15. If it lasted longer, it would be worth the price.With some modification, I was able to use this on an American Tourister 21-inch carry-on.I drilled new holes in the handle where I needed them to line up with my suitcase.The handle is thicker than the original so hopefully it holds up well.

Didn't fit as describe for the luggage piece I had. Returned the original and they sent a second one returned it and finally got my refund 3 weeks later.

Husband swapped my shaky handle from my carry out. So far it’s working well.

No pop rivets we’re included in this package, so I didn’t want to remove the bottom plastic piece. Ended up destroying the entire thing trying to make it fit. Buying a second one (hoping pop rivets are included). Would be nice for a refund on the first one, but I’m the one that tried to force it. Why can this sort of thing be easy??

Installation was mostly fine, but disappointing that it is already coming apart after 5 months and only a few uses. The original lasted 15 years. A little over 2 years and it came apart on one side, and then handle cracked completely while on trip. Not sure what a reasonable lifetime might be for this product.
