She just learned to read this past school year. Kindergarten teacher recommended this one as a summer reading list and she really enjoyed the story. It’s her new favorite book she owns. It was easy enough for her to read independently with some challenging words and fun things she never heard before and I explained to her what they meant. I think it was educational, and also funny. Very engaging for kids and beautiful illustration. Highly recommended! We got the paperback and pages were perfect. They are also nice and thick for a paperback book. If your kid loves their ABC’S and wants to learn to read independently this is a great choice.
