Prell Shampoo Original, 13.5 Oz

This was a really good deal they were priced right so I bought three bottles. This is a excellent shampoo that gets your hair very clean. You do not use very much just a small amount, gently work it in, and rinse it out of your hair. It will not build up in your hair if you use it sparingly rinsing thoroughly. Your hair will be shiny, soft, and smelling clean with that nice smell of this shampoo. This is a real classic shampoo that hasn't changed and has been around forever. It has a really rich thick lather that no other shampoo has. Strong enough to remove stains from clothing just pre treat with this shampoo and wash in the washing machine it doesn't damage fibers. You can hand wash your delicate clothing using a sparing amount and it rinses out.Fun fact if you look up the old commercials on YouTube for Prell Shampoo one of the ladies who starred in a James Bond film Maude Adams is in the commercial titled - Come to isle of green - Liquid Prell Shampoo - (1973)

Shampoos are getting ridiculous. Increasingly, they're like a salad in a bottle, and they build up and make your hair lank and overloaded. Or maybe your hair is naturally oily. Either way, many/most shampoos today fail at the basic job of getting your hair clean and leaving it with body.Prell and VO5 were the O.G. clarifying shampoos back in the 1960s, and it's great that they're still available and provide great value. Prell's formula seems unchanged since the '60s: rich, thick, volumizing, clarifying, without additives and excipients that too often leave your hair overloaded. Good stuff and great to find again.

My all time favorite shampoo. Sometimes it's difficult to find. I've been getting it when I could since the 70's. It is just a very nice smelling, very good cleaning, very lathery simple shampoo. Doesn't leave a bunch of oil on the hair. It looks shiny, healthy and everyone loves the way my hair smells. I'm so happy I can get it on Amazon now, I'm totally going to stock up.

It's Prell, one of my favorites from when I was a kid. Cleans my hair great, leaves a lasting aroma, and even makes my hair fluffy as a Pomeranian! Good stuff. Thanks. Kem. July, 22 2025

I love my prell, recently went to get another purchase @ my store & looks like they may not carry this product, but it works for me. I have very fine more oily hair, this gives me a squeaky clean feel & I bought the 3 pack, very economical & no more running to the store smells fresh, you dont need too much & rinses well

This classic is great to use as a clarifying shampoo. It's also good in the summer if you live in really humid climate. It works well on my fine hair. I like the smell. 4 starts because it's not an everyday shampoo.

Wonderful shampoo, an odd but "addicting smell". It is great for thin or oily hair but I believe it would be nice for anyone to use. It is now hard to find at local stores. The issue was that the supplier/amazon put gummy stickers all over the bottles AND on the caps so now I have three shampoo bottles that look old before I use them. They should have just put the sticker on shrink wrap and protected the bottles. I am happy to say there were no leaks but I think that is because the delivery was good.Six stars to Prell. It's exactly what I wanted. Same bright green color and refreshing scent I remembered from the 80s. It gets my hair clean, leaves it soft and fluffy. I've used it for over 2 months now, no complaints
