This is the third time that I have purchased this cd. I enjoy it so much I wear them out. Its refreshing and relaxing.

I bought this CD to play during yoga at home as I am Catholic & don't ascribe to Oriental Spirituality. This Gregorian Chant is so beautiful I also listen to it just to relax or to enhance my meditation & prayer.

I heard about this when it first came out in 1994 and bought a copy and absolutely adored it. The original CD got lost in a car wreck, but I still had a few of the MP3s I ripped from it, and I keep them on my workout MP3 player. The other day I was looking for an extra Christmas present for my mother - a "stocking stuffer", if you will - and I stumbled across the same original CD on Amazon. I immediately ordered a copy for my mom, as well as a copy for my sister and another for a friend. All give it rave reviews...I am beginning to get a rep as a pretty dang good gift buyer for a guy...lol You have to hear this stuff to grasp how soothing it is to play in the background or esp. in your car while you are driving back and forth to work. A was disappointed to see that Amazon does not sell the individual tracks as MP3s or at least have a few of them available to listen to online before you buy, but take my word for it, this is awesome stuff. And it is a great bargain because not only does it have 19 tracks instead of the piddly 10 tracks that you get on most popular CDs, but it comes with Amazon's AutoRip, which puts individual MP3s of each track in your Amazon Cloud library (for free - you rule, Amazon!!!), so you can then download your favorite tracks to you computer and/or your MP3 player. I previously had a tape of this and finally ordered CD to help in stress relief as the chanting is very soothing. I would have rated 5 stars but it was mailed in a plastic envelope and the case was cracked. Wish they had put in a box so this would not have been broken. Hopefully the disc is okay but I haven't played it yet.
