The kit has clear directions and is easy to use. Collecting the blood sample on the sticks provided is a little strange at first but simple enough to figure out.

The results were almost instantaneous. I read the enclosed directions but felt more comfortable after scanning the QR code to watch the video. It was very helpful for me to see the steps before doing the test. I was concerned about messing up or the results being ambiguous. My concerns were in vain as the test was quick, easy, and the instructions were complete. Currently waiting for the card to dry so it can be preserved and placed in the medical file at home.

Wanting to know my blood type I got this at-home blood type test. The instructions were clear and the materials they provided were good. The test came with a card to accept blood in 4 circles (see attached photo of my test). It came with 2 single-use finger pricker to draw blood to be dripped into 4 Eldon sticks, each stick for dropping blood into each of the 4 circles. The instructions said to slowly angle the card in so the blood can fill each of the circles on the card. Then the results appear in a few minutes. But, the instructions said the testing is not to be used for the purpose of blood transfusions. It also said to re-test if the result seemed weak. I wasn't sure if my result was weak or worked. Rather than buy another at-home test, I got my blood type tested at an independent blood testing center in town. I'm happy to say that my blood type tests showed the same blood type. This means this at-home blood type test is highly accurate. It was also easy to take.

So I bought this after a funny discussion with my sisters and mother, about us all not having a clue what our blood types were. And the cost was cheap so I said why not. So once it came I was so excited to do it. Unfortunately it didn’t work 😔 I was so sad. I blame it partly on myself because you need to be very careful and read the instructions over and over if you have to. Or I’d highly recommend that you have someone with you to read and tell you what to do each step. But mine also looked like it got messed up in transit somehow because it was packed poorly by Amazon. I did reach out to Amazon just saying what happened and they said they’d try contacting the seller… then the actual company who sells the product contacted me instead and said they will be reaching out to their USA team and have them ship me a new test directly at no cost. I was beyond pleased and the second test was so much better! I’m not going to say the results are extremely clear cut, but you’ll still be able to tell. And for such a cheap price and easy results in minutes, not to mention a customer service team that went out of their way, I give them 5 stars for that. Even though there was an initial mishap which wasn’t their fault, they made up for it and I was very grateful. Thank you sellers! PS - take your time to read the instructions well before you start. A single mess up can ruin the whole test. It happened to my sisters. She was to anxious and rushed. Dont be her! Lol but anyways, final results for me was that I’m a 💁‍♀️B+.. good luck all! UPDATE: So I was recently looking at some medical records from a hospital stay 2 or so years ago and while going over all the different types of info, I happened to notice that they listed my blood type in the blood work section of my records. And guess what, it was the exact same results that I also got from this test!! Since I already gave it five stars, here’s a sixth.. ⭐️ Hope it works out for you guys!

So easy to use and quick with a result!

Easy to use, clear instructions. The only thing you need that doesn’t come in the pack is some water. I only had to prick myself once instead of twice because it bled a lot. Keep a bandaid on hand.
