The big selling point for me was the 7-year warranty on top of the 10-year sensor life -- for less than £20 this seemed like a great deal when comparing it to the other options on Amazon.Everything you need to get this unit up and running is included in the box. In the package I received were 2 good quality Duracell AA batteries to power the alarm. Also in the box were 2 screws (with wall plugs) for fixing to a wall, a 22-page user guide (quick start on last page), and a rather handy instructional sticker to place somewhere for guidance on what safety steps to take if the alarm goes off.The unit feels sturdy and is compact enough to make it portable (even to take on holiday). It can be placed on any level surface - I have mine on a shelf not far from the central heating system. The front of the unit is very user-friendly with 3 LEDs showing power, fault, and alarm status. The test/reset button is a good size and feels positive when pushed to do the weekly test. Incidentally, the alarm is nice and loud!Overall, I think the Kidde K5CO Carbon Monoxide detector is a great buy and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for something that is super-easy to set up.

Functions perfectly and good value for money but they do bot feel particularly sturdy. Actually lasts more than the 10 year lifespan but might be less sensitive. Easy to setup and nice loud siren.

Good size monitor, works well, and has a long life, so don’t have to think about it for 10 years. There are skews to fit it to the wall if required, or have it on the work top. The price was also a bonus as not as expensive as quite a few on offer.

Well priced product. Does what it says on the tin. Easy to install and comes with Duracell AA replaceable batteries.

I always buy this model for the quality and reliability. Last 10 years and useful if one moves from place to place and you don’t trust the monitors put up by landlords, caravan owners or Airbnb. Highly recommended

Manufacturer is well known for quality for these type of products. Delivery was fast. Installed and tested. Product performed per instruction.Disappointed product was packaged in a paper bag. Product box was crushed a little, but Product looked undamaged. Would have preferred it was packed in a cardboard box instead to protect Product during transit. For this reason only 4 stars.
