Exactly as advertised! (Updated 12/8)
I'm so happy!! Having the option to use a USB-C cord for my Surface Pro 6 instead of the big clunky stock charger is amazing. I was hesitant about this cable working, but it seems to be working great. This is only my first time using it, so I'll try to update if anything goes wrong. I just plugged it in a few minutes ago; it's 11:35 and my battery level is currently at 12%.Charging cable itself is pretty straightforward. I personally had a slight hiccup at first because the little shield/sheath thing around the metal chargy end on my cable apparently can shift slightly forward and backwards and prevented it from being plugged into my charging base properly. So I guess that's a slight manufacturing issue since I've never had anything like that happen before, and a vast majority of my tech uses USB-C cords, but it didn't actually prevent me from using it; I just doubted it would work to the point that I didn't really try to see what the problem could be.Historically, I have gone through THREE chargers for my Surface until now. The first one was the stock one issued by Microsoft, and it eventually ended up not charging anymore. I replaced it with another one from Microsoft and that one held up well, until our new kitten decided to use the cable as a chew toy... And then did it to my cheap replacement charger in rapid succession. So the fact that this cable has the braided cover is huge for me, because it's safer for my kitten and also because it prevents me from being mad at the cat again (lol). So on the durability front, it's at least really promising for now.As for charging power, it's now 11:45 and the battery level is at 21%. So that seems promising too!So don't do what I did at first, and make sure you actually have the cable plugged into the charging base properly if yours doesn't work. Also make sure that you have the proper charging base for it too. There is a light; mine was functional as soon as it was plugged in with no blinking.Definitely a solid purchase so far!Update on 12/8: I've been using this as my only Surface charger for almost five months now, and it still works great. I sometimes have an issue where it stops charging unless it's positioned a certain way but I haven't figured out when or why it happens yet. I'm still happy with this charging cord and I would buy it again and recommend to others.

Not worth buying - Stopped working after a few months
Was working fine for the first few months but has recently stopped working. Have tried it with two adapters and it just won't work: 45W adapter, no charge. Connected with an adapter (5.78A), no charge. When I use a USB-C cord to charge my Surface Pro X, it works just fine with the same adapters.Wish it failed sooner so I could request a refund.

Great cable. I came back and bought a second one.
It's a high-quality cable that works well and lights up when it's charging like the OEM. I like it so much that I bought a second one as a backup.

Works great, WITH THE CORRECT CHARGER BLOCK
TL;DR: Cable works great, as long as the USB-C charger has EXACTLY 15 V, 3 A as one of its output modes. "ONN." brand 67 W laptop charger from Walmart works great. This cable works excellent as a more travel-friendly charging cable for my old Pro 4. However, I initially couldn't get it to work using an Apple laptop charging brick. BUT, that's because the Surface requires strictly 15 V, 3 A (45W) input for charging. The Apple brick provided two traditional phone outputs, 5 V and 9 V, but the only higher output it provided was a 20.3 V output, which is too high for the surface. This caused the brick to switch down to likely the 9 V output, and prevented any charging (even though the light on the Surface end turned on).To use this cable, you MUST FIND a USB-C transformer that lists "15 V, 3 A" as one of its output modes, NOT just one that has 45 W or greater power output. For this purpose, I purchased the "Onn." brand 67 W USB-C laptop charger from Walmart, and then the cable worked perfectly.Anything below 45 W single-port output will not charge the Surface period, and even at or above 45 W, it requires precisely 15 V, 3 A to charge. Anyone who complains of using the "right" charger and the cable still not working has probably not verified their brick is capable of this output. All of that said, I have not had the cable/used it for long, so I can't speak on the durability. If it were to fail quickly after a few uses, I will update this review.

Doesn't work on stnadard USB ports for charging
The cable connection is fine, but it doesn't work on planes, computer USB ports, or other other standard USB situations. It needs a USB port for plug in to a wall to work. I was hoping for a surface to USB port to use on the plane charging option. This is not it due to amperage issues. It does work with a USB to three prong wall adapter I have. So, I'll keep it as a small computer bag option for my surface there. But its not for plane use like I hoped.

40watt Charger Block Necessary
A great little option for a cable for a surface pro 3. You MUST have an adapter with the proper wattage. If you just try to plug this into your phone puck, for instance, it won't work very well.

Didn’t work at all!
I wouldn’t recommend this charger. It may seem cheaper compared to other chargers, but it doesn’t even work. My laptop was at 20%, so I plugged the charger in. The light turns on, but a second later, the battery immediately stops charging. Then it turns on, then it stops charging. This process continued, then my laptop died. Even after trying with a different charging head, the same thing occurred. Needless to say, I am absolutely dissatisfied with this product, and I will not be buying from this brand again.

Great Cable
My Surface pro 6 only has about 4 hours of battery life with continuous use. For other devices (tablet, phone) I use a 65 Watt charging block with a USB-C charging cable. Sysyphy's cable gives me the same functionality for my Surfure Pro 6. The braided cable seems sturdy yet flexible and the magnetic connecter fits solidly in the Surface charging port. I am now able to get many hours of continuous portable use out of my Surface computer! Or, if I did happen to discharge the Surface Pro I can use the charging block or any available fast charger I happen to have to charge the computer. Word of caution, make sure your chargers are of sufficient output for the Surface Pro. I got specs from Microsoft Copilot to make sure mine were compatible.
