Perfect replacement for Craftsman Eager 1 Mower
I discarded the base and installed the filter and plastic cage on my Craftsman mower. Perfect fit without modification required. The Craftsman name is even molded into the side of the cage.

Works well with Craftsman Eager1
I used these on some old Tecumseh engines that originally came with the clamp on style air filter (which is NLA) they fit good and work well, and the filter element is easy to replace and readily available. Great part for keeping these old machines running.

Perfect Replacement Craftsman Lawnmower
This was a perfect replacement for my forty year old Craftsman Eager One 20”lawnmower. Why replace the air filter on a mower that old you ask? Well it’s been a terrific lawn mower and although it now has been retired to part time status, it still runs and starts on the first or second pull of the starter rope. Somehow in the process of changing the air filter element it didn’t get replaced quite right and fell off at the worst possible time. The mower ran over it and that was that. I am very happy to have been able to find an inexpensive and EXACT replacement which actually is unbelievable in light of our current throw away attitude concerning consumer items.

Works with difficulty
was not a direct match up even tough part numbers were the same. Made it fit by cutting off one lug and using a zip tie.
