Big Spoon is my go-to nut butter. Other brands are just okay; Big Spoon never disappoints. Peanut, almond, cashew – all are excellent. Fresh and easily stirred. Bonus: glass jars with metal lids.

I was trying to find a spicy peanut butter because the Peanut Butter Company discontinued making their spicy peanut butter, which carried a lot - A LOT - of heat. BSR's description of spicy PB fall short: "...blends freshly roasted and milled Runner peanuts, dried Guajillo, Ancho and Habanero chiles, raw organic cane sugar, and sea salt to create a fiery spread as intense..." led me to believe that this peanut butter was spicy and flavorful, but it is not -- it is a coarse peanut butter without the flavors of hot chiles and/or sea salt. I inadvertently ordered two, so now I am stuck with four jars of expensive, regular-flavored peanut butter because these items are non-refundable. So disappointing.

Let me start by saying, this is some delicious peanut butter! The whole peanuts and the broken bits are just so good. The peanut flavor and the quality are off the chain.So, why the 4* and not a 5th*?Because, there is no sorghum flavor at all. There's no sweetness at all really.If you want really crunchy peanut butter with great peanut taste, this is a quality product and I highly recommend it.If you are dying for that distinctive sorghum flavor, this isn't the experience you're likely dreaming of.Note: There was a lot (A LOT!) of very difficult stirring to get this peanut butter to a usable state. It was just a solid mass when it arrived.

I don’t like giving negative feedback unless the product has completely disappointed me. Which this product has done. Only reason why I bought this peanut butter was to taste the complex flavors of the peanut butter infused with habanero peppers. To my disappointment it has absolutely no spice to it at all, black pepper is spicier than this. Honestly speaking it tastes like any other thick peanut butter. I certainly feel I bought an expensive average tasting peanut butter.

This is a delightful gourmet nut spread.The flavor is a bit nuanced so don’t expect spectacular “ punch in the face over the top” flavor. But the consistency, spreadability and texture are a delight.I had to laugh when I saw that they are using Jacobson Sea Salt from the PacNW. It means the ingredients of this concoction are better travelled than I am…Happy to support small batch culinary offerings.

I didn't think it lived up to hype. The off the shelf Honey Peanut Better has a more desirable taste. Not a lot of honey taste and for sure lacking in the Sea Salt.

Seal on the jar was broken, I thought my husband opened it to taste. I took a taste of it, it was dry and flavorless. Way too many peanut chunks for my taste. Ask my husband what he thought. He had not opened or tasted it. A quarter of the jar was empty. So I received a previously opened jar with a quarter of the product gone. It really bothered me i tasted it. Needless to say I threw it out and hope my husband and I are alright.

Product came and jars are both cracked with peanut oil staining the inside of the box. This is a terrible display of product. I can not serve this to my family as the glass in cracked and who knows if it’s in the product. I am trying to get refund with no response. Don’t waste your time or money.
