Micro Essential Lab 9400 Plastic pH Test Strips, 5.0 - 9.0 pH

Bought these strips to evaluate the reliability of a calibrated pH meter against a third method, (drops in a vial measured against a color chart).These test strips & the vial method confirmed the stated pH of the calibration solutions. Unfortunately, even after calibration, the digital meter was not in the same range - so that was a waste of money.The calibration solution used was this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BZCL5VR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1(My hydroponics system aims for water pH between 5.5 - 6.0, so the lower range is inconsequential for my needs. The strips are right on target with the two calibration solutions, as was the vial method, (which does include the lower pH range...)Product is exactly as described. Using test strips is more convenient than messing with vials and after my little comparison experiment, I have confidence that they are giving me accurate readings.Also of note, the expiration date is May 15, 2022 - Getting a fresh product with time to use it is also top notch!

I was able to match the color of the strip to the bottle very precisely and know the pH level within 1/2 point. These work well for testing water.

These are awesome they give quick and accurate reading versus paper ones that I have tried and do not like.
