I am very happy with this item. It is sturdy, well made, and warm. I do NOT know how to describe the weight of a fabric so I can't be of help in that area of this review. When it is 65 degrees Fahrenheit indoors, overnight, we can sleep comfortably with only a flannel sheet and this spread. It definitely holds its shape. Many people have commented on how pretty it is.Update: I accidentally wrote this review about the matching bedspread,instead of the sham. Of course, the sham holds up just as well. I just washed the bedspread and it held up perfectly with almost no shedding.

The Shams are very pretty, however, looked dingy when received. They also felt a little damp and smelled some sort of funky. They were too expensive for problems such as these, so I returned.

These are perfect.....just enough design to add a bit of color without being too much! Very nicely made.

These shams are beautiful but the bedspread I ordered said it was grey. Do the shams come in that color?

Love it, considering building my collection

I love all of Modern Heirloom Collection. I have this one and another one that I just love. It is great in winter and also in the summer time. It is well made and I know it will last for years. It is heavy after washing it and having to put it in the dryer, but comes out very soft. So I will handle it being heavy once it is wet. To me that really is not a flaw and if they come out with another design that I like I will be buying that one as well. They make great gifts.
