Only dislike is that it snags very easily. I have not washed it yet, so I can't comment on that

This is a fantastic blanket! 100% cotton and very well made. It's perfect for sleeping in summer months. We washed it according the instructions and it came out beautifully.There are some negative reviews here that mention pet friendliness, snags, lint, and warmth. This is a cotton knit blanket, so it is not surprising that it would tear and snag when clawed by a dog or cat. If pet friendliness is important, would not recommend buying a knit blanket. We have seen very little snagging, but again, it is a tightly knit piece, so minor snags from time to time are to be expected. We have not seen any signs of lint or fluff. It washes and dries wonderfully. Lastly, warmth. This is a lightweight summer 100% cotton blanket. It is not intended to be warm. In fact, we purchased it because it is on the cooler side of the spectrum.

What a great blanket! 100% cotton quality blanket for my bed is what I was looking for and I found it with this Madison Park Egyptian Cotton brand. It lives up to all those positive reviews others have written and those are the reviews that ultimately helped me decide to choose this brand.Those negative reviews about excessive lint? I didn’t see it after washing and drying it before using. How about those negative reviews about snags? This is a fairly tightly woven cotton blanket but snags can certainly occur if you let pets with nails jump on the blanket. Yeah, I guess those who rated it a one star ⭐️ were right...for not using enough precaution to avoid such an obvious danger of damage to a woven cotton blanket! Besides, if you do get a snag (and let’s face it, most woven cotton blankets will eventually get a snag) they are easy to repair. Just use your search engine!Some negative reviews referenced the blanket not being thick enough. Well, that’s a very personal perception and expectation. I was looking for a blanket I could layer by putting the blanket on top of my flat bed sheet and then put my down comforter on top of the cotton blanket. PERFECT for me! This blanket provides the year-round flexibility to use it as an added layer to keep warm during cooler temperatures and is just right when only a bed sheet and/or a light yet sturdy cotton blanket is needed during those warmer nights of sleep.Also, with my comforter having a cotton duvet cover over it, the comforter doesn’t slide off the bed when it’s on top of this blanket. More sleeping comfort!Don’t be swayed by some of the negative reviews. This is a great cotton blanket. Not too thick, not too thin, nicely woven and won’t just stretch when you pull on it to get more covering...the entire blanket will move! In fact, I’m so impressed with this blanket I’m ordering another color so I can seasonally mix things up. Oh, and the color? It was pretty darn accurate to the color in the picture! No regrets!EDIT 07/2021 - Update: It’s been more than three months since buying the khaki colored version of this blanket and have been using it on my bed ever since. I LOVE this blanket. As mentioned before I was looking for a cotton blanket that was not too hot or too cold and this one has passed the test during the hot months of mid-Atlantic weather.After living with this blanket for three months and really enjoying it, I purchased another one in blue. It arrived packaged brand new, no snags, I washed and dried it easily with no overly excessive lint realized and very minimal (if any) shrinkage, no pilling and super cotton soft. This Madison Park brand blanket is the best cotton blanket I’ve had in decades. So glad I found it! I’ve attached a picture showing both blankets purchased.

Best light weight blanket, ever! Comes in a hard plastic, zippered bag. Right out of the bag this blanket is buttery soft. No odor whatsoever. Washes & dries beautifully. I use this for my couch and love to snuggle while watching T.V. This was just what I wanted. The cotton blanket helps your body to breathe. Highly recommend. Worth every penny. Thanks, Amazon for carry this brand. Try it! You won’t be disappointed. :)

A lightweight summer blanket perfect for me! Highly recommend

Perfect for the summer months here in Los Angeles. Very thin but just thin enough to cover yourself and not get chilly

Almost gave 4 stars, but went with 3.Pros: lightweight, breathable, it’s summer in central PA and I haven’t woken up sweating at all in the week I’ve had this (I did with a lightweight synthetic blanket, so go 100% cotton). I washed on delicate, dried on low, emptying the lint trap 3 times. Didn’t shrink, pull, and it was fine. 100% cotton. Get used to doing wash separately and emptying link traps.Cons: see my picture. That’s a full size bed. I got the full/queen size. It BARELY drapes over the sides. If I had a queen, this would not work at all. Second, I ordered seafoam color. It’s much lighter than that. My walls are seafoam. I have another seafoam blanket and it matches the wall perfectly.So, this isn’t the softest blanket ever, it’s not the most true to size, and I’m not happy with the color, but it is keeping me from sweating during the summer yet is just thick enough to not freeze me out when the air conditioner is on all night. Prob more like 3.5/5 but not a 4.

This blanket has a fine weave and is just as nice as others that I paid twice as much or more. I purchased a camel color. Very happy with it!

Washed well and was very soft afterwards/

Cette couverture est très douce et confortable. Au premier lavage, elle a laissé une quantité de mousse normale dans le filtre. J'ai acheté la Queen pour notre lit Queen. La grandeur est correct quoi que j'aurais pris un peu plus grand. Le seul défaut à mon avis est la couleur qui ne reflète pas la couleur vue sur ordinateur. La couleur ivoire n'est pas ce à quoi je m'attendais. Autrement cette couverture est parfaite.

Wow. Washing this 5 times and running it through a dryer MANY times (I lost count) has done nothing to help with the fluffiness. The texture of this blanket was amazing but after a day of use, I noticed pink fluff gathering in my bedroom like little clouds. No big deal. I washed the blanket, and tumble dried it according to instructions. My dryer then became a pink mass of fluff. I went through the cycle again, thinking it would help. It did not. Same result. Meanwhile, my husband developed a bad eye infection which we strongly suspect was due to the blanket as it kicked up after the first night of use. We have given it many goes with washing and tumble drying and have come to the conclusion that this blanket will fluff out until it's all washed away. Sad that it's unusable as it's pretty and felt soft to begin with.

This thing will completely fall apart and snag like crazy. It snagged on my nails before it even snagged on my dog. Now the whole thing looks like a wreck. It’s sooooo soft and breathable, I just wish it was completely interior woven so it wasn’t snagging. Had to return. Hopefully they’ll make a new one with the same material but more woven.

Although this is a beautiful blanket and I could see it would be so warm, I opened it and it had snags. And upon further close up of the stitching I could tell this would be an issue as this stitching is very loose. This will be a flaw in this product for anyone purchasing.
