I bought this lamp to replace one I bought on Amazon in November that stopped working properly. This arrived today, it was great for ten minutes then just went off. I’m very disappointed, it will be sent back too! Sadly doesn’t justify one star rating, but unable to give it no stars!

With all of my creative projects it’s essential I have decent lighting. I’ve ordered gooseneck lights in the past which have failed to please me, either because the fittings have come loose because of them being used a lot and cannot stand up to the wear and tear I put on them, after all I don’t choose gooseneck lighting for nothing, I need to keep repositioning the light. So when this lamp came available on the Vine program I thought I’d give it a try and I’m glad I did, the gooseneck is very sturdy. It gives a quite a bit of resistance when adjusting the position of the light that tells me it’s durable. The base is very heavy which keeps the lamp in place when I’m adjusting the gooseneck. The poles of the lamp fix together nicely and there’s no wobble in the stand plus the pieces stay nicely screwed together and don’t work themselves loose. The light itself has has 3 different modes and can adjust the brightness to suit. Best part for me is the fluorescent lighting that allows me to see my project really well. Reason I gave it 4 stars is because the touch buttons are positioned on top of the lamp so when I hold the lamp to adjust the position I end up knocking the buttons. Other than that I think the lamp is great and would definitely recommend this to you.

Beautiful modern floor lamp.Very easy to assemble. Instructions included.Some of the pole is shiny the top part which is flexible is Matt.The tip of the lamp can be moved around, multi directional.You can have the lamp at different shades. So bright, and softly dimmer to quite low fabulous for different times of the day and different moods!All functions are on top of the lamp. Like a touch screen you just touch each button.It has a M for medium brightness, more of a yellow light than bright white, then on and off button and of course brighter and lighter! The brightest is a white light almost which is amazing for makeup!The cord length to the plug is very decent enough to pull around the room a bit away from the socket.I would recommend this especially if you like the idea of being able to move the light around or place it in a certain position that you couldn't buy

Hey, this lamp does everything it says..It's tall with a heavy, stable base.Offers control over hue as well as brightness of light.Top arm is easily maneuverable to an angle that suits.BUT.. all the blasted controls are on top of the actual light head. And they are flush so cannot be detected with touch alone. This greatly reduces the comfort of use, forcing you to get up just to adjust the light.Furthermore, you cannot get around this by adding a remote mains switch or floor switch as after powering off and on at the mains, this lamp defaults to the Off position rather than the last setting it was at.In this day and age when kettles, light bulbs and wotnot are all Blootoof or Alexi controllable, this lamp bucks the trend with manual controls which really are quite labour intensive.If the controls are less important to you, or you are happy to mark the touch-controls with feelable tape as I have, then I'd fully recommend the lamp as the quality and variety of light is very good.

Well I've been very surprised by this floor lamp. I wasn't expecting the world based on its stock image and the price etc but this is actually a really fantastically useful light which I think look tons better in the flesh too. I didn't expect it to score brilliantly on both form and function but it score pretty fine on both, though function over form wins here as it just has so many practical uses and the design is very simple.It is basically already assembled in the box, you just have to unfold it and screw the pole/stand sections together (they're literally already in place and held together by the cable, you just tighten them up in essence), run it through the base, tighten up, add the power cable and you're ready to go. A couple of minutes from box to turn on - great.The head and upper neck is sooooo flexible and bendy, it's awesome - you can just about angle this at any position and literally light up any specific part of the room. This means it can work great as a reading light, up lifter, down-light or general light but is really at its best as a brilliant spotlight - you can make specific areas look really lovely with this. The settings help this further with the three tone settings that are genuinely noticeably different enough to be worth having (the warmest tone of the 3 is really lovely and sumptuous) and each tone then has five levels of brightness. All easy to flick through with the touch buttons on the lamp head.Needless to say I love this light and am super pleased to have it and give it 5 stars.

These can be easily controlled with the touchable panel which has four buttons (on/off, mode, brighten up, brighten down). The lamp head is easy to bend and twist into whatever position you need.Quality:It has a sturdy weighted base, which firmly stands on the ground without worry about falling. It even comes with a cleaning cloth to wipe dust of the floor lamp in order to keep it clean and tidy at the corner of the room. It’s made from an aluminium construction and every component seems to be well made, so I have no doubt about its quality or durability.Assembly:Consists of 4 aluminium rods, which can be put together in less than 5 minutes. Once assembled it has a height of around 5 and a half feet and weighs around 2-3kg. The power cord is over 2m and should be more than sufficient for most houses.
