This model is incredibly versatile, and a great choice for casual or business wear. It exudes an air of professionalism and intelligence.Stylistic:1. The dial is "busy", but well very well put together. Many chronograph models crowd the face of the watch and obstruct legibility. This model, however, retains the image of mechanical complexity without sacrificing the ease of telling time at a glance. The detailing on the sub-dials is well done - all hands hit their mark perfectly and the steel finish around the dials give them a nice metallic glow in the light. The face of the watch has "depth" and overall looks very sophisticated.2. The date is large and visible, a distinct advantage over many chronograph models that are often seen with a minuscule date window at the four or six o'clock positions. It is a two-frame date window, which means that right hand numeral changes every day, while the left hand one changes every ten days - a nice touch which yet again reinforces the mechanistic allure of this model.3. The case is polished stainless steel comprised of two distinct segments. The dial has depth but the case isn't at all obtrusive and sits very comfortably on the wrist. The case is sleek and is not the problematic "frying pan" that juts out from the wrist, eager to strike hard surfaces at every opportunity. It also fits very naturally underneath a shirt sleeve.4. The strap is a tad stiff, but is noticeably softening up with regular wear. It is a cocoa brown strap with white stitching and matches the off-white dials perfectly.Functionality:1. Unlike most analog chronographs I've owned, this one can measure time up to twelve (12) hours as opposed to merely thirty (30) or (60) minutes. It also has a split time measure mechanism that is absent in many other high end models.2. The luminosity on the markers is decent. In strong sunlight the hands are illuminated with a cool blue glow and last afterwards for several hours. However, this watch is not very legible in dark conditions for prolonged periods of time.Having owned the watch for several days, I cannot comment on its accuracy just yet, but it appears to be in complete sync with the U.S. Atomic Clock thus far. I will update this review to reflect accuracy after several months.Overall, this is an incredibly stylish and functional watch. It is only 50M water resistant, but that should be plenty enough for what anyone can expect to encounter on even a rainy day.Due to its stylistic versatility, functionality, and authentic European history, I would gladly recommend this quartz model to anybody in the market for a serious watch.

I really love this watch. I bought it as a gift for my son and he adores it. I have a similar watch with the same model number, but it is slightly different, which is nice it a way. I bought mine on a Lufthansa flight and tried to get another the same. I am glad it is different though as I do fancy the parchment face. The watches of Zeppelin are all exquisite for men. They are not super expensive, so they are not copied. They are not sure cheap, so they are noticed for their uniqueness and masculinity.

Not at all being familiar with these and only learning about them from my WWII magazines, I just had to purchase one!I will probably purchase a few more of these German made brands, as I am very impressed with my first one.

Great looking retro 1930's style watch. Comfortable to wear and certainly has a quality feel about it. So far excellent in keeping time,and comes with a great presentation case and replica airship ticket.

This is a super watch that looks stylish and substantial however, and for no fault of the product, I had to return the watch for a different style. Because the watch face is cream and the hands white, there is little contrast and I couldn't make out the time without stopping and focussing on the face. Now that is my problem and nothing to do with the watch, however it may help anyone who has a similar issue. I am replacing this Zeppelin with a dark faced watch which will suit me perfectly. By the way this is offered at a great price.

Die Uhr ist optisch sehr schön und hochwertig, auch wunderbar verarbeitet. Sie sollte ein Geschenk an meinen Freund zu unserem Jahrestag sein, leider ist sie sehr groß, was auf den Photos im Internet überhaupt nicht so wirkt. Mein Freund hat sehr schmale Handgelenke, an denen diese Uhr regelrecht klotzig wirkt. Es scheint im Moment ein Trend zu sein, die Uhren im Durchmesser immer größer zu machen, 5cm hört sich nicht viel an, muss man am Handgelenk aber erstmal unterbringen. Sehr, sehr schade, denn vom Stil her hätte sie ihm perfekt gefallen und ist von der Qualität her ist sie den Preis auf jeden Fall auch wert, aber da sie nicht passt muss ich sie leider zurückschicken.
