I really like the corrugated discharge pipe. It does not collapse when draped over the edge of the hot tub. It is easily attached to the pump with a plastic clamp and thumb screw. It pumped almost all the water out of the hot tub and was very fast. I love that it's lightweight, however, it pumps so hard that it tends to flip on its side, which is a bit of a problem when the water level gets low. I had to hold it in place toward the end, but that's okay. With that said, I wish I had found this one before spending four times as much for a dud of a pump.

Worked great for drawing the kids pool.

I was skeptical at first because my pool had gone months being left alone… it was full of leaves and algae. I skimmed it for about an hour getting as much debris out as I could and dropped this bad boy in. It took about 6-7 hours total to drain. As it drained I continued to skim the leaves out. The pictures speak for themselves. Once the device was dry, I took it apart to clean it and now it’s ready for the next time I need it! Totally worth it. My pool is 4ft high and 15ft across.

Absolutely amazed by how quiet and effective this little pump is. Drained the remaining water in our pool quickly, and with no noise. Just be sure to keep the pump under/in the water to avoid burning out the motor. Left maybe 1/2 inch water in the bottom of pool that was easy to clean up with a few towels. Easy and quick to set up. Lightweight, simple to use and did I mention how quiet it is!!! A must have if you own a pool!!!

I LOVE THAT DIRECTIONS WERE EASY TO UNDERSTANDTHIS ITEM WORKED LIKE A CHARM....ITS JUST WONDERFULI DUMPED ALL MY WATER WITH EASE!IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR AN AFFORDABLE PUMP FOR A KIDDIE POOL THAT GETS DIRTY ALOT, THIS IS THE BEST EVER...ITS LIGHTWEIGHT AND DOESN'T REQUIRE NO STRESS...EASY TO WORK AND ITS JUST AMAZING!

the hose connector mechanism for using a garden hose is subpar. it is loose, the pump end twist lock is easily knocked off and it leaks when twisted in, and it doesnt tighten well on the garden hose side to ensure no leakage.the pump also isnt designed to be naturally stable when sitting on a pool cover and it tips over easily. a wider base would be helpful. fiddling with it to get it stable coupled with the hose connection issues often leads to the hose popping off and spraying water while working to get it settled while pumping.
