ASURION 4 Year Office Equipment Protection Plan ($1250 - $1499.99)

Almost to the end of my policy my GPU goes haywire. Service was fast and 100% perfect, Thanks!

I bought a Asus gaming monitor for $1320 and added this plan without really thinking. Fast forward 3.5 years and the monitor finally stops working properly, continually overheating and shutting down every few min. I figured the warranty would cover it, but nope, it was only good for 3 years. I was so upset and gave up, thinking I was outta luck. So I went on Amazon and spent $1000 I didn’t have budgeted to buy a new gaming monitor. I figured I’d chalk it up to tough luck and move on with my life. But then I remembered I bought asurion, so I did the simple claim process, packed the monitor up and shipped it off in an old box using asurion’s prepaid label. I didn’t expect much, I have had enough troubles getting insurance to cover various things throughout my life that I was sure they would “find a loophole” and not cover the repair. Fast forward a week and I have a 1320 gift card on my Amazon account!! Needy to say my jaw dropped and I bought asurion for my new monitor. I will be buying asurion for absolutely everything for the rest of my life. Absolutely amazing company, 10/10. I got no hassles from them and didn’t get any follow up requests, just some text messages saying they’d repair it, then days later a refund since it couldn’t be repaired.

I truly do not purchase any electronics without having Asurion as my coverage. Best company ever!!

Breach of ContractWe purchased an Epson printer from Amazon and added the Asurion insurance.The printer went down and we sent it off to the authorized repair center and were told it was beyond repair.Asurion proceeded to email us a gift card for $1,325.00 without bothering to contact us regarding our choice of refund.Upon reviewing the contract it states CHECK or GIFT CARD.We wanted the check since it is a lot of money to be spending on Amazon.We called customer service and explained the situation that we haven't used the gift card and would like them to mail us a checkAfter speaking to Frank who apologized for Asurion not giving a choice of refund we were told he could not help us because the gift card was already issued (even though we didn't use it). We asked to speak to his supervisor Carl, who also gave us the poor excuses that over a certain amount they only issue a gift card. THAT WAS NEVER STATED IN THE CONTRACT!!Frank told us he would reach out to us in 2-4 days. It's been a week and of course we haven't heard from him>This is breach of contract and a sneaky way of getting the customer to spend more money on Amazon instead of refunding with a check.At this point we are stuck.Just want to alert other consumers about this scam. Asurion is trying to wear us down so we give up.Update: On the phone again with supervisor Lisa after a week of waiting for a response from Carl. Getting the same run around, she says the last phone call with Carl was NEVER even recorded.Back to square one.

All the people at Asurion were helpful, forthcoming, and lived up to their warranty. I am completely satisfied.

Overall it is doing the job, it is too soon to tell if it will be able to handle the volume of shredding we have. Disappointed that the bin is cardboard for this price at the very least it should have been plastic. Lots of the shredding winds up on the floor.

Assurion took a few weeks to determine the item was no longer worth repairing and the issues an immediate refund.
