18w Round LED Globe Bulb B22 Bayonet Pure White 5000k Equivalent to 162w [Energy Class A+]

Very bright. NOTE: The rating written on the box is 15000 hours and not 20000 hours Life Expectancy on the advert.

I bought 3 of these to go in my garage. They are good bulbs, and have transformed the lighting in my garage. Because they have quite a large diffuser, they give a more even light with softer shadows. The colour of the light is quite neutral - neither warm nor cold. What you want in a workshop. I don't know what the star rating for "thickness" is about - these bulbs are the size they are. They've been in use for a few weeks now and are working well.

Wanted a clean bright white for our bathrooms and hall areas that don't have natural light from windows. I bought these to replace the Diall 1500w globe bulbs which were supposed to be 4000k but still had a slightly yellow tone and made our white walls look magnolia. These bulbs are listed as 5000k and the difference is clear - they are very bright, very white, and our white walls now remain white no matter what time of day. The globe shape works well too as the light reaches all corners of the rooms including the high ceilings. I bought 2 to test these initially, and have now ordered a further 4.

It's bright. Very bright. Would be good in a large entrance hall or something of where you need a lot of light in a smaller space

This bulb is nice & bright and the colour temperature seems pretty accurate- it's not a cold white, more of a slightly warmer tone which is a little gentler on the eyes. I like the large bulb shape as I don't bother with a lampshade, but do bear in mind this won't fit every shade or cover as it's rather bulbous. It's lasted longer than every cheapo Chinese LED bulb I've bought which is a good sign, especially given it's rather expensive for a single LED bulb.

Finding a high lumens/wattage output light that is 'cool white' rather than the warm light is quite a challenge, especially wanting the bayonet style (B22) fitting.Using this in a 'hobby room', where good light is really important. It is an unused bedroom, about 3 x 4 meters, walls are painted an 'off white' colour, ceilings are 'trade white'.I was wondering if this would be too bright to be honest, but it's perfect. I think the slightly larger size helps to disperse the light, and it doesn't feel like we're in a prison yard under the spotlights. Previously we were using a Philips led desk light for additional light, I've noticed the past few evenings of crafting, we've not needed it since using this bulb.Wish I'd found this months ago.
