Men's Persian Lamb Ambassador Hat

This is the most comfortable and warm hat I have ever owened. Very well made and looks great! I used the sizing guide and my head measured 23 1/2 around and I wear a 71/2 fitted cap so I ordered an XL. When it came it was just a tad big so I solved the problem by putting a thin piece of self adhering felt on the inside in the back of the hat, didn't want to return it for a large thinking it would be too small. I don't even feel the felt and the hat fits great, don't even know that I'm wearing it. I am very pleased with it and wear it often. If your thinking of buying one ,measure your head and use the sizing guide that Russian Legacy provides, my head size was right on the border for an XL so that's why I went with that size. I priced similar hats that where well over 200$ that did not look as well made as this one and am very pleased with it!

This hat is my seventh Persian Lamb Ambassador hat. Many years ago I was in Chicago during the winter, walking crosstown in terrible icy wind and I saw Marshall Fields looming ahead. I dashed inside looking for a hat that would rescue my freezing scalp and stay on my head in the strong wind. I bought my first Persian Lamb Ambassador that day. I've worn out three of them. Another was stolen in an airport (the thief obviously had good taste), and there are two old but functional models still with me--but, I needed a new one. So, I took a chance. Two chances. First, I am hard to fit. Second, I wanted a gray hat, but most Persian lamb gray hats are way too monochromatic for my tastes. More mottled or dappled fur suits me better. I've looked, and the more dramatically speckled furs are hard to find. But, on Amazon.com I came upon Russian Legacy offering Persian lamb hats and after reading their listing and checking the reviews I placed my order. When the hat arrived two days ago, frankly I was anxious because I just knew that the hat wouldn't fit and that the fur would be drab. But, that was all really unnecessary. From the time I placed the order, the folks at Russian Legacy worked with me to make sure the size was right. And, obviously they understood my descriptions of what I do and don't like in various kinds of gray Persian lamb fur--and so, I am absolutely ecstatic about the hat. It fits as well as I can possibly expect, and the fur is simply beautiful. The quality of the hat is excellent. I've had more and less expensive models of the Persian lamb ambassador. In fact, a couple of them were extremely costly--but none was constructed better than this one. I told my son today that this gray Persian lamb ambassador hat may well be the one that is with me to the grave, and if it is, I will go happily and in enviable style. This really is a great hat, and the whole process of buying and working on getting it was fun.

Non stop compliments on the hat and how well it looks when in out on the town. I love it.

This hat actually deserves 6 stars. Very well made - hats off ! ;-) Upon ordering you will receive an email with instructions for precise measuring - that makes a decisive difference. Coming from halfway around the world shipping took a while via normal (snail)mail. Expedited shipping is available upon request though. By all means it is worth the money and the wait. I would buy it again in a nanosecond and highly recommend this product - don't hesitate and go for it.

I bought this as a winter gift for my husband. The seller was meticulous about sizing and wasn't satisfied until I sent the exact size down to a millimetre. I had to wait for a couple of weeks but the end result was perfect. Not only is the hat beautiful, it also fits perfectly. We loved it.I also bought another one from Russian Legacy - the Karakul Diplomat Winter hat and that one fits perfectly as well. It keeps very warm. Now we just have to wait for the right weather conditions. I would definitely recommend both.

In the beginning I gave it a one star because I have not received it the day it was to be delivered the following day I received it and love the hat good quality made very well!

I loved this hat! The quality was excellent the lining was stitched perfectly. It was warm and the fit was perfect. I was so relieved that it fit - at first I ordered a size too small and I received an email from this company recommending that I order larger size - it was a Christmas gift for my father and he absolutely loved it! I would order from them again!!

The other customer feedback here is accurate. The hat arrived on schedule, it fit perfectly, and I’m happy with the quality and appearance. I live in Michigan, where winter is cold and windy. The seller will want your head measurements to ensure fit.
