I ordered this and received it today. I paid far less for this cloak than I have for others and now I see why. The material is thin (90/10 polyester and other) and does nothing to keep out a draft. It is unlined. I'm keeping it because I can alter it to suit my needs, but I won't buy another and I honestly don't recommend this unless you're looking for fairly affordable costume or don't mind doing some sewing work on it.

The material is cheap and poorly crafted,not good for keeping warm or daily use. But would be fantastic for a halloween costume.

Not an alternative to a winter coat. This shouldn’t be called a “trench cloak coat” to begin with. It’s a Holloween cloak. The fabric is thin, somewhat soft but cheap material. I only kept it because their customer support consistently tried to convince me to keep it so I was afraid I they wouldn’t refund me even if I shipped it back and provided a tracking label. They did give me a partial refund, though I would have rather they honored my request and accepted the refund. Not what I was looking for.

I really like this cloak. It's comfortable, cute, and light weight, making it great for the Ren Fest on colder days. I will say, I thought from the picture that the top folded over itself and buttoned together, but the reality is that there is a bar of fabric holding the two sides together, so it isn't quite the look I wanted, but even so, very great product.

Fabric nothing like described. The impression it gave was that it was a light sweatshirt type material. I've seen dollar store costume capes with more substance. Poor construction (hems rippled, seams a little wobbly. Size ordered was the largest I could get but still child sized. At least the color was correct. Dumped in donation as soon as I got it out of the package.

The material is cheap the hood looks funny and the pictures make it look like it is long and goes to the ankles but it goes barely past my butt. I'm tall but not that tall.

It looks a lot nicer in the image. Very thin material. Not at all what I expected.
