Surprising details and quality
I read most of the review prior to buying and despite some complaints regarding ties and the zipper, I rolled the die and I am glad I did. The most important thing is fabric quality. This duvet has a sateen stitched fabric. Its not slippery but does give that crisp smooth feel of high quality hotel sheets with a denser fabric. There were in fact fabric ties at the corners, they are not the same material as the duvet (thankfully!), its a coarser braided material that wont come untied easily. Nothing is a bigger PIA than ties that wont stay tied. The zipper is on white interfacing (I bought the white duvet) and is in fact a silver metal zipper with silver teeth. However, its not at the edge of the duvet. Instead its smartly about 6-10" in on the underside of the duvet. It also has a fabric gusset to cover the zipper. No one is going to see the silver zipper. The pintucks are tight and wont pull out easily. Fabric ships wrinkled but I expect it to release with washing based on my experience with similar quality of material. The shams are gusseted on the ends which surprised me (vs the back). Overall I would rate this duvet in quality as medium/high. Its not cheaply made. The put in the extra craftsmanship details. Fabric is on the higher quality side. Stitching is solid despite lack of trimming tread at the ends. Zipper could be higher quality, but still not the cheap going to break quick type. Overall solid value buy for the price.

Wrinkled AF
While I do like the thickness and quality of this duvet cover, I'm really not sure how I like the material as it is impossible to get the wrinkles out after washing.

Wonderful. The Real Thing.
Fifteen years ago, I spent what was to me an egregious amount of money on 800-TC Egyptian cotton sheets on Overstock. Now I know exactly how much of a bargain I got. Back then, if a product said it was X-thread count and Egyptian cotton, you could believe it. Unfortunately, that set was Full, and we have a Queen bed now.And nowadays I see 1500-TC — which is impossible for cotton — for $30 per 4-piece set — which is impossible for good sheets. I read article after article on how to tell fakes, only to realize they were almost ALL fakes. This particular brand and set was highly recommended… somewhere (honestly, I was reading EVERYWHERE, I can’t remember which article was the one that talked about this). I took advantage of Amazon’s long-haul Christmas return, and bought a set of sheets and this duvet cover.Worth. Every. Penny. Not that there are many. This is unbelievably cheap. (Be warned: good High-TC sheets are warm. We’ll use these in spring and fall — after the heat of summer but before the indoor heat needs to be turned on, and vice versa. I am investing in linen for summer and winter). But the feel is amazing and the weight is perfect. “Hotel quality” sheets feel like Rayon to me — and one needs to ask if it’s the Four Seasons or Super 8. There’s no risk with these.Would I be a wee bit happier if I could find the 800-TC sheets from 15 years ago? Yeah. I would. But these are by far the closest to them, and the price makes Overstock look expensive. If you love real cotton and a quality weave, this is for you.

Colors don’t match - pillow case and duvet
The pillow case has blueish undertones and duvet doesn’t. It does not look like a set

Bargain price for excellent quality.
Seriously a great buy for the price.I washed before first use and have washed and dried three times now. In perfect condition.I wash in cold delicate cycle. Dryer on low delicate. Pull out of dryer after 15 or so minutes, it will still be slightly damp. Immediately spread it out fully and lay it over the bed, then firmly/ gently smooth the fabric out with my hands. It will fully dry and be like 90% smooth within a few hours, even with AC on! Being 100% cotton it dries quickly which is why the fabric wrinkles so easily in the dryer. It’s not super crisp from a wrinkle perspective. It probably would be if it’s ironed but... um yeah. Lol.But the cotton allows for amazing breath ability. Husband doesn’t overheat, I stay warm, we use a woven cotton blanket inside the duvet for summer. The fabric (silver) is like a pale dove gray, beautifully colored. Our sheets are a higher thread count so it’s not as soft as our sheets but is wonderful.I will be buying this again in other colors like white and gray. This was bought for our first bed as newlyweds, so it had to be right! I had looked for weeks online and in stores... and this was the best purchase by far. Enjoy!

Love
I love the duvets like this. I have them in many colors, the only thing I don't like is this one has zippers that close the end. And then they sit on top of eachotherv and clink every time the blanket moves. That is annoying

Color is wrong
I ordered the blue duvet cover, which is pictured as a light blue. What I received was a navy blue cover which is way too dark. The overall feel of it is great and good quality, but now I have to return it due to the color issue.

Highly recommend
This is an amazing duvet cover. The zipper is the best I’ve seen about 3 inch up from bottoms, so nicely out of sight. The shams fit perfect. Highly recommend.
