The watch arrived as expected and all packing materials along with the watch were in excellent condition. The watch was a tad darker in person then I expected, but it ended up being something I think I'd prefer over a lighter shade. The watch is a true field watch and definitely something, in this particular color scheme, that really cannot be used (in my personal opinion) in a dress watch situation. But hey, you be you.This is my first Hamilton watch purchase and I am very pleased with this selection and with the quality of the product that was delivered. I do wonder if the more traditional brushed steel model with either a black or what dial would be more attractive/versatile, but as I wear it with more earth toned clothing (my preference), it is a most versatile watch as a casual or field wear clothing scenario. If you tend to wear brighter clothing, you may want to opt for the previous model options I mentioned.

Great watch. Very beautiful. Solid build. Beautiful earth tone colors. A pleasure winding it too. Fantastic history related to watches given to soldiers. You can feel that history when you wear it.

Watch came with box, papers and warranty information. I imagine that they are not an AD, as the card is blank with no re-seller's name or date on it. For a watch under $600, a 2 year warranty is not something terribly valuable. Would of been nice if this information as on the product page. For the price, sometimes we have to use our common sense when you get a discount on a brand new watch and take the assumption that it won't have the manufacturers warranty.The earth PVD is great, allowing a more natural tone to the watch that is less bronze than it might look in photographs. The watch is comfortable, wears slightly larger than 38MM case size with its extended lugs from the case, and is easily legible. I have found myself able to read time quickly in either low or the best of lighting. The lume is satisfactory and is included on the small triangles just outside the minute markers and all the hands. Don't compare this to any Diver of any degree, though. This won't light the room up. The movement is clicky and the slightly oversized crown is purchasable as you wind it up. Currently keeping time at +5 seconds a day.I think the only thing I won't give 5 star review for is the quality of the strap.The spacing of the holes on the "sizing" side of the strap is extremely large, not allowing the watch to fit as snug as a typical Nato strap does. Also, the only hole that fits my wrist wasn't punched through properly so the pin doesn't get all the way through. I was disappointed in this, as the olive strap with brown leather keepers is a nice play on the colors of the watch and look great together. Since it doesn't fit as well as a Nato it pretends to be, and for the hole that fits my wrist being useless is why it doesn't get a 5 star review.TLDR;Vintage inspired military watch from a reputable Swiss brand. This is the watch you wear while you do yard work to jeans and a t shirt at the bar later on. Make sure to buy a couple straps as this is a strap monster type of watch and the stock strap is less than desirable
