Don't let the negative reviews discourage you from purchasing this amazing little steamer. It's exactly what I was hoping for. The water begins to boil within a few minutes creating enough steam to get rid of wrinkles on two items then just refill if you need to do more. It was effective on silk, polyester and cotton, alike. As with any item that holds water, completely empty and dry out the vessel or it will accumulate water deposits that could damage the device, especially if using tap water. If you attempt to use this horizontally, like an iron, it will, of course, leak and spit water. You must use this steamer vertically. Just hang your item and steam away. I find it the perfect size for traveling, as it fits in my cosmetic bag rather nicely. Do not use the brush attachment on delicate fabrics. Just use the flat metal piece and you will not snag your fabric. I feel these tips are no-brainers, but negative reviews indicated malfunction of the device when I actually suspect malfunction of the human. Love my purchase!

I bought quite a few pieces of chiffon type toppers for summer and of course they arrived severely wrinkled. I was also planning a vacation, so I knew it was time to buy a steamer and one that could easily fit in my small suit case.After reading dozens and dozens of reviews online, I picked this little guy from Amazon. It arrived quickly, was super cheap and it's easy to use.As soon as I got home, I filled the reservoir and turned the steamer on. By the time I returned with my blouse toppers, the steamer was going full blast. I was able to get all the wrinkles out of 5 pieces with 2.5 fills of the steamer, not bad!I did not use the brush head attachment which would be helpful with thicker fabrics like drapes or coats. This is an immaculate tool that fits in the hand, is not heavy and does not leak or sputter.I'll be packing this in my suitcase for next week's trip and I couldn't be happier with my choice.

I bought this to get the wrinkles out of my son's graduation gown. It worked really well. I have since used it to freshen up tee shirts and my husband's work pants. I just wish the water reservoir would hold a little more water.

Holds enough water to steam one article of clothing, maybe two or three, depending on the material and size of clothing. If you don’t overfill it, it won’t spit water on youl. It has a fill line. I would give it five stars, except that when I tripped over the cord and it flew across the room on the hardwood floor, the plastic part that secures the nozzle to the base broke. It’s still usable but I have to be careful not to lose the top when using. Inexpensive enough that I will just replace it. Great for travel and quick touch ups or tougher jobs. Compact. Long cord. I love it.

This was not a good product. The one I received holds about 1 cup of water and Every Time when I plugged it in, it heated up and boiled rapidly and vigorously, and started spurting out boiling water vigorously and getting hot boiling water all over my counter tops. Every time. and the one time I let it continue spurting out hot boiling water to see what would happened, the vigorous boiling water settle down and there was less than half of cup of hot water left and then it started push out some steam, but with less than half a cup water left, it ran out of steam, in less than 90 seconds. Cannot recommend this product.

I read a ton of reviews before buying a steamer and this was highly rated for the price. It's not bad and did the job but 1. Does spit water at first, make sure to not overfill at all and 2. The well isn't very big at all, I only got 1 shirt done with a full well. That's fine if that's all you do but if you plan on using it for longer or bigger items till be refilling A Lot

This is a MINI steamer. It only holds a very small amount of water, so it runs for just a few minutes before it needs to be refilled. Then you have to wait for it to cool before you can remove the steamer head to add more water. So this is not good for a large item unless you have plenty of time. However, it does a good job and I would recommend it. Keeping mine for travel!

East to use and does not require skill. Great for a graduation gift or for those on the go!!
