THE charger to get.
Only the size of a pack of cigarettes, but easily charges my smart phone 4 times, or my Satellite phone 3-4.

Goal zero products rock
This power pack is a perfect size to carry in a backpack or purse. It will take my iPhone from 10% to 100% in about 20 mins. iPad or laptop I get one full charge. I will always recommend Goal Zero products. I have several

Useful but slow charging
It's often nice to have an extra battery pack and this one is nice and compact, about the size of a deck of cards. You should take note that there are limited connectivity options and the flip out port for charging feels flimsy but hasn't failed on me yet either. Charging is not high speed so if you are looking for something that can give your phone a quick and speedy charge this is not it.

Portable powerhouse in a small package
This is my second purchase of this item in a short amount of time. The first one was so good that I had to by another so my wife would let me have mine back. The smaller size and light weight while providing dense power is a great feature.

Find something else.
Charging it is difficult. You have to plug the tiny USB directly to a plug. Only will charge through the onboard male USB. Running a cord to the female end will not take a charge. More importantly I got 97% charge from it ONE time and my battery was at 8 when I started. Was not using it while it was charging. Samsung S21 Ultra. I was out of juice in the backcountry. Never use this brand again and testing the manufacturers claims while in still in the return window.

Charges phone fast
Great product for charging phone while camping for the weekend in the middle of nowhere. Still had almost 4 bars of battery life after taking tons of photos and using wildlife app. You can also hook up this battery pack with a foldable solar panel with usb port to recharge the battery pack so you never run out of battery life on your phone for extended hiking / backpacking trips. Love this portable power bank!

Will charge my iPad or MacBook Air in a pinch...
I bought the Goal Zero Flip 24 primarily as a compact, fast charging battery bank solution for my iPhone on the go. With its 24Wh (6700mAh) capacity I can get about two full phone recharges, which is more than sufficient for my daily needs. The Flip 24 also supports pass through charging. Which means I can charge my phone from the Flip 24, while the Flip 24 is being recharged. Not all battery banks can do this. With 2.1A (10.5W max) output, I have tested and confirmed that it will charge my iPad or MacBook Air in a pinch. Just a boost though, given its battery capacity. I plan to add a Goal Zero Nomad 5 solar panel to my kit. The Flip 24 snaps on the rear of the Nomad 5 for an integrated solar charging solution, that you can attach to your backpack to recharge via solar on the go. The Flip 24 is for my daily use. The Nomad 5 is for more for my emergency preparedness... example if I get lost on a hike for days/weeks, I'll still have a charged phone, charged flashlight, etc.... just in case. The Flip comes in two other sizes. 1) Flip 12 - 1A (5W max) 12 Wh (3350 mAh): Slower charging; Good for 1 phone recharge; Will not charge iPad or MacBook Air. 2) Flip 36 - 2.1A (10.5W max) 36Wh (10,050mAh): Fast charging like the Flip 24; Good for 3 phone recharges; The additional capacity will be useful if you need to recharge a tablet. The Flip 12 was not sufficient for my needs. And the Flip 36 was heavier and more capacity than I needed. But you might want to consider these other Flips based on your needs. The Flip 12 and Flip 36 are also compatible with the Nomad 5. Great product. Would buy it again.
