I was building a new house when I bought this. I was perfectly installed by my electrician. It turns on whenever I turn on the light in the bathroom. So no more fog in mirrors when taking a shower.

When I received it, it was bent in several places, severely, and there was a huge boot print where someone obviously stepped on it. I have yet to install it but I will update once I know it works. Maybe I'll add a star if you don't have problems but the price is unreasonable for a wire wrapped in plastic.

I was staying at a hotel in Tokyo Japan and I took a shower and when I got out I looked at the mirror and it was totally fogged up except for a perfectly clear 12" by 18" rectangle. I had never seen anything like it and thought wow the Japanese are geniuses. So when I came back to America I looked on Amazon for a mirror defogger and found this one. I ordered it and when it arrived I took my mirror off the wall stuck this thing on the back, then drilled a hole from the center of the mirror through the drywall and about 3 studs to the switch box for my bathroom light. When I was drilling i hit one of my electrical wires and it sparked and tripped the breaker, but i turned the breaker back on and it was fine. Then i fished the wire through the hole and wired it up. It has been about 2 years and it is still working great.

Very easy install. Size is maybe .5 inches smaller than advertised which is perfect so it is much easier to line up on back of mirror. 100% zero fog on bathroom mirror after shower now. We have a powerful new exhaust fan and still had to open the bathroom door to clear the mirror, now it’s perfect.

Does what it says. My only minor complaints is that the heating element isn't as uniform as I'd have liked. You can see slight rings where the mirror isn't as heated, leaving small amounts of fog in those places. It's minor and I'd still recommend the product

Nothing like ordering more than one (on several occasions now) and getting one "on time" and then the follow up a month later. Makes it hard to do a remodel when you don't have the parts!!!

Easy to install; however you do need to write it in to the house. A junction box behind the mirror at the height of the mounted heater is best.

it works ok no issues and it really removes the fog out of the mirror but I can feel the heat of it if I get close to the mirror so I installed on/off switch because I'm not sure if I leave it on 24/7 it might break the mirror from the heat.

Works really well. Area in the mirror is completely clear of fog, while the rest is, as usual, super foggy. Now I just need to find a way to do the same for my glasses; in in the meantime I shave without...Size looks even bigger than I thought previously. I might have bought a smaller size if they made some.Download the installation manual to get an idea of the work involved.Update: forgot to turn it on this morning. Took about 2 minutes and a half to defog.

Easy to install on my bathroom mirror so now it is not fogged up when I step out of the shower, except for a 3 inch border all around the mirror as it is larger than the defogger.
