Le Creuset Heritage Stoneware 12-by-9-Inch Covered Rectangular Dish made in France or is it made in China?

Yes, the stoneware is made in China. Only the cookware (pots, pans, and skillets) are made in France. However, the quality of the stoneware is superb. I gave this to my wife as a gift last year and we have used it extensively without issues of cracking surfaces, pitting, or any trouble with baked on residue. My wife hopes to have more of the stoneware in the future.

Is it safe to put le creuset in the freezer?

I put mine in the freezer, but man did it complain. Demanded a goose down coat and hot cocoa. After that it was fine.

China as of 12 November 2021. There is a marked difference in quality.

How deep is this pan? I would like to use it for lasagna.

They make another one, 12.5 x 8.5, which I have and use for lasagne. It is about 3" deep and works perfectly for many layers.
