Mobile Suit Gundam: The ORIGIN 10: Solomon Review: Una obra genial, todos los tomos son muy buenos. Llegó rápido y en buen estado. Review: Dozle's Stand - Gundam: The Origin Volume 10 brings us to the Battle of Solomon! After an upgrade to the Gundam, the White Base ends up as an attack unit to back-up the main attack force at Solomon. As the Federation preps it's GMs and Ball units, Dozle prepares to defend his fortress. Meanwhile, Char discusses Lalah's combat role with Kycilia and a powerful Newtype is once again unleashed upon the Gundam! This volume is almost entirely the Battle of Solomon. The Gundam being upgraded is done in much more detail here than in the show. Some of the more technical aspects are fleshed out. Dozle's humanity is shown while he makes reservations to ship his family off the fortress in case it falls. The actual battle follows pretty close with the show. The use of GM Cannons made some of the battle scenes that much better and the Big Zam's debut was just as epic as the TV series. After Solomon, we get back to Char and Lalah and her Elmer mobile armor. Amuro and Char have another violent encounter but nothing is settled. Another amazing volume with a few extras at the end and a wonderful story. I say this for every volume but it's very nice to see all these events from the show in greater detail and lengthened. Looking forward to completing the next two volumes. Many thanks to Vertical for this great series!

The Nightmare of Solomon
In this the tenth volume of Verticals amazing english translation of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin we move towards the end of the One Year War. But not without devastating losses on both sides as the battle for the asteroid fortress Solomon, one of the last lines of defense before the Zeon homeland of Side 3, rages. I don't want to say too much more because that might get into spoilers. The art is excellent as Yas always is, and the translation continues to be top notch.

Book arrived in a great condition.

Mirai’s short romance and Mineva’s innocence were touching in the middle of a fight in a desolate place. Oh, the book is heavy.

Gah, the art is even more beautiful than I expected. The way the newtype encounter scene was handled by Yasuhiko was simply sublime. Characters really are the focus in this volume since the tone of an entire scene changes depending on which particular character is involved.
