I bought two of these pet carriers and I am very pleased. They are just as pictured. I did read the reviews and will comment accordingly.They were very easy to put together. Each only took a few minutes and I did not even need the instructions. I read one review that mentioned common sense, and yes, that is all it takes.I did choose to use the screws, as I have one big cat and the other one is anxious and has broken out of a previous carrier before, which is why I chose a more solid one this time. A break out won’t happen in this one.To insert the screws, just turn the carrier upside down. The nut can be put in place and the screws can easily be tightened. I saw a review complain that a screwdriver is needed. But seriously, who doesn’t have a screwdriver? However, I could tighten the screws enough by hand that I could have left it that way and had it be good enough. I did choose to finish tightening it with a screwdriver though.The top opening works well, you just have to turn the flaps up (which unlocks it) before you pull them forward to open it. Then reverse that, to close it. You could do that one side at a time to make it easier if needed.Overall, I am glad I chose these carriers. I will buy again if I need more in the future and would recommend these to others.I will be adding some sort of padding/bed to it for added pet comfort and so that they don’t slip and slide on the plastic.For dogs, I could put my (not small) chihuahua in it with plenty of room, but I would not choose to smoosh my larger-sized Frenchie in it.

I like the top loading function, pretty nice. Makes it easier for spreading out the mat and cleaning out the carrier. Also has 6 nuts and bolts that hold it together for piece of mind if your kitty is not so little like ours is.Our first one arrived damaged in shipment. They had a new one to us the very next day. Impressed!

Compact and easy to clean, maintain and access pet carrier. It is not as comfortable for them if they don't have a comforter or a pillow to travel with. We've had no problems with the item for carrying our small cat to vet visits.

this is exactly what I am looking for my cats. It was very easy to assembled, looks sturdy, most important, both of my cats love it. one of it stay in it for almost the whole day.

Affordable and Good Quality. Very easy to assemble. Before adding the screws to the structure I placed the door in and then secured the two structures. Like don't try to put the door in after you bolt the top and bottom together. Sturdy and really great price! I bought this for new kittens. I put inside a pet bassinet and at night time the kittens go inside because they're at the stage of crawling and exploring. To keep them safe when I'm not home to monitor escaping kittens. Fits 5 super kittens ( bigger than regular kittens) Comfortably for overnight. I put a cloth pee pad down inside. Also helpful and handy to take my senior 12 lb dog to the vet . I read the reviews before I purchase anything. It's everything I read and more!!! I'm really impressed with the ruggedness and durability factor. I didn't notice any smell. If I did I would've aired it out. But everything is satisfactory. Delivered without any damage issues. I highly recommend this pet carrier.

I can't tell you how much this saved me! Our little dog is very anxious and when we leave him in our camper to go eat, he screeches and yowls. We've gotten nasty notes on our door saying he's suffering and the A/C isn't on, etc. Neither of those is true, he is just anxious even on medication. A friend suggested a crate and WOW!!! First moment we put him in he lay down and was quiet the whole time we were gone. Our neighboring campers confirmed he was quiet!

Excellent quality and at a great price. Very versatile, you can open the large door in the front, open the large top or take the top off.Best carrier i have seen yet
