Evolon Pillow Protector | Sleep Safe Zipper Cover | Zippered Queen Pillow Encasement

I purchased these pillow covers for my son who has a pretty hardcore dust mite allergy. He tends to cough a lot at night, and I began wondering if maybe his pillows/bedding were to blame. We stripped his bed and bought new pillows that are hypoallergenic, then purchased these covers for them since they are dust mite proof. The covers are made of a thick material that fully encases the pillows. I feel like they are a little oversized, which was good in our case since my son prefers a full/overstuffed pillow.The covers themselves are nice and they are breathable. They aren’t made of plastic or vinyl, but they do have a very soft “rustle” sound a little bit when you move on them. I didn’t mention it because I wanted to see if he noticed it on his own. He did notice it and made a comment about it the very first night, but he said it wasn’t bad and he still wanted to use them. After a couple of nights, he said he didn’t even notice it anymore. He said he does think they are helping him and that he feels better sleeping on them.I would definitely recommend these pillow covers to any allergy sufferers out there. I think they make a remarkable difference in the way my son has felt since we put them on his pillows. I also feel they are a good value for what you get. I've read reviews where somebody claimed hair and pet dander clings to the pillow covers. How does this happen when you put a pillow case over the protector? Duh. By following directions - it seems people do very little of this - I washed the covers as soon as they arrived. It says to do that right on the package. I cannot tell I have these covers on my pillows. Noise? What the heck are people talking about? Hard to get pillow inside? Get the right size cover and that's not a problem. I seem to be sleeping longer each night and at my 81 years, not getting up hourly is a plus. Since having the covers, I've managed to keep in dreamland with only one get-up each night ( and I sack in for 9 hours each night). This cover is on a Queen size Verlo pillow.

I tried many types of pillow and mattress protectors and this Evolon material is the most comfortable I've found. The material feels the most similar to regular fabric and is very soft not crunchy. It has a matte and slightly sueded look and feel, and is not shiny or slippery like some other covers. This pillow cover won't be loud when you move your head around and you won't mind feeling the cover from the open end of a pillow case. All in all this is made of a really unique material that isn't available from other brands and seems to be well made..

Compared to other brands of bed bug pillow covers, this is hands down the favorite. I do not even notice that it is on the pillow.No chemical off-gassing and no crinkle noises when moving. Sizing is great (I ordered queen for a queen size pillow and it fits perfectly). And as other reviewers mentioned, it does get softer with washing (and to my understanding, you're really only to wash these types of products when you first get them -- then leave them on underneath the pillow case). I will choose this brand for any future similar products. Although, hopefully I won't need bed bug products ever again!!

A little big for my standard size pillow and it isn’t soft fabric so it crinkles. It doesn’t bother me but for some it would be an issue. However, it does help me with my allergy to dust and I breath better by using it. No more red eyes either.

I love that my odd-sized 27.5 x 15 x 5 pillows fit, leaving a little extra room for expansion. It seems that nothing will ever get in OR out! We've never had a problem with any pests before, so I can't say how well it keeps the pests in / out, but we do keep our pillows new and fresh smelling by protecting them from the environment at all times. There's nothing like a new, clean pillow every day of the year.....This product is thick, easy to clean, and worth a try.

This came fast, was afraid my queen pillow purchased with this wasn't going to fit in it but it did with no problem. Not sure how to describe this but it is not soft but rather thicker and more durable probably making it harder for the bugs and mites to get through. Thought I had ordered two but only got one so I will be ordering another one. Haven't slept with new pillow and cover yet waiting for rest of bedding to come so can put it all together.

I love these pillow case covers as they were recommended to me by my doctor for eye allergies. The pillow case covers seem to be of great quality - not rigid or stiff material underneath my pillow case. The product is as advertise and if I am need of dust mite pillow covers again, I hope I can find this same brand. I recommend this product for those that have allergies and stubborn animals that sit on or near your pillow. The hairs seep through the pillow case fibers but not the pillow case dust cover. And are reasonably priced compared some others I reviewed.
