Very pleased with this very clever tool
I asked my children for a vice for Christmas and this is what I got. Very pleased with this very clever tool. I sculpt irregular shaped objects made of wood and stone and this vise is flexible enough and strong enough to hold them steady while I bang away with my hammer and chisel. The vise is very portable and lightweight. You could fix it to a work bench permanently or just clamp it and move it from one workspace to another. As I just started using it I cannot attest to its durability but it did hold firmly a 10 pound piece if tree branch while I carved forcefully with a hammer and chisel. My compliments to the designer.
