FriskBristol Board Paper Pad A5 25gsm, Cardboard, White

This is my go to paper for graphite and coloured pencil. Nice bright white with a smooth surface and good thick sheets. Good value for money, would definitely buy again.

It has slightly more tooth than the Tombow Bristol paper or the Windsor & Newton extra smooth, but is still smoother than cartridge paper. Colour wise the other two have a slightly more cream cast to them than this. I wouldn't call it brighter, but more desaturated.with inks there is more penetration to the other side than the other two. With acrylic pigment ink the linework looks the same, and with water based dye ink about the same too, although it looks like there might be slightly less bleed outward from the lines; but I'll have to test it more.

Useful for lots of different projects.

Lovely pad of good quality Bristol board, I even got some as a gift for christmas.

Very good paper but the item was creased on corner of every page. Would be amazing for a hobby artist but not as a professional artist as the creases are quite noticeable

Far too much texture for the kind of fine ink and pencil work I do, if you need a truly smooth surface give this one a miss

Good affordable quality paper. Works good for coloring pencils.
