Really strong magnet. I like that it has a detachable pull handle. Works exactly as you would expect

As with other reviewers, I purchased this magnet specifically to remove BottleLox security covers from supermarket delivered alcohol. You need to move the magnet around the plastic lock, and the magnetic locking mechanism will release. I suspect it will be a case of practice makes perfect, and will be worth the investment to avoid hacksawing the cover off. It is irritating how frequently supermarket bottles are delivered without the BottleLox removed.

Very powerful magnet. Seems well made and packaged. I did put some glue in the eye thread as it did feel that this could loosen off easily.

I bought this magnet because I lost my other one, as it didn’t have a hook and wasn’t very strong. When it arrived, I was very impressed about how strong and compact it was for such a cheap price. Later that week I went and tested it out on a local river and i found an old bike and a few road signs! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for this kind of thing.

Works well and really strong magnet. Used it to clear a bike riding area of years of barbed wire and nails. Only advice would be to wrap a bag over it to help pick bits up so you don’t have to peel off the magnet.

At the time of ordering a super strong magnet I assumed quite naturally that it would have been manufactured such that the effect of the magnet would have been on more than one face however, on receiving and testing the magnet it transpires that the magnet only works if the object you are attracting is directly under the surface of the device. Could quite easily have been designed and produced such that more than one face had a magnet. Very disappointing and of little use.

I recently dropped my house and car keys into a drain near my house. Although I tried to fish them out using a variety of hooks and magnets, they kept falling back in, going deeper into the silt each time. In desperation, I bought this magnet and within 30seconds of ‘fishing’, my keys were safe in my hands again - the magnet was strong enough to pull my keys out of the silt, even though I couldn’t see them. Delighted with my purchase.

Not even close to 78kg pulling power upon test It carrying dumbbells it can’t handle 30 kg but did just manage to hold 25kg
