Working great thus far.
VCR arrived packaged securely, Included all new accessories (remote, video and HDMI cables, VHS to HDMI converter). Plays tapes with no issues thus far.

So far so good
I've had three of these. The first one lasted two years..so this past January of 2024..I purchased another one..I'm pretty sure it was from a different vendor..it was a silver in color..so knew it was a different model even though I matched the model number when purchasing it...well it stopped working last week..I only got six months out of it..not happy about that at all and I let Amazon know about it.However this one I received looks exactly like my first one I had..I hooked it up yesterday and so far no complaints.

decent product refurbished
This product was refurbished. The VCR / DVD works well. I can watch all my old tapes & disks on it. The remote is not perfect, working sometimes and not others, but many refurbished products don't even come with a remote so I am not very upset.

Still play VHS?
Only been in use a few days but it's working fine. It was not new but it came with all the accessories. It is what Amazon is calling renewed. Refurbished to me.It does not appear that this DVD?VHS combo is being made anymore. At least in an affordable form.

VHS/DVD COMBO RECORDER IS JUNK!
I purchased this renewed DVD/VCR reluctantly as there were no options to purchase a new one. The DVD player worked fine but when I tried playing / recording 2 VHS tapes the player ate the tapes. I sent the sellers an email after the product malfunctioned but never received a response. I didn’t expect a refund but would’ve liked the seller to at least respond with an option for replacing the player.

Ate the first tape.
When I first used this it ate my son's Mary Poppins tape.I was going to return in 5 minutes. Then I wanted my son's tape back so I unscrewed the top few screws and easily removed it. Then I pushed the tape hard from it's back and that made a part on the inside slide and scrape against the inside and release the tape. After that we have no problems with it eating tapes but some tapes just go black and the player turns itself off. So be prepared and have a small size screwdriver ready. Oh and don't play your favorite tapes first.
