I was looking at ALL the hair crimpers/straighteners and decided to take a chance on this D-show machine. I ordered just one but somehow two were ordered and sent to me. After I opened the amazon box I could see a nice black box which holds the plates- actual machine- and instructions! It has multiple functions, multiple heats, I was originally going to return the SECOND crimping iron I received but I decided I loved it so much I gave it to a friend. It has some weight to it, it’s not heavy but doesn’t feel cheap. It works very well on course and thick hair, it has a huge surface area as well!

Can't beat the price, and it works well! I use it on my daughter's head so I use the lowest heat setting which is still pretty hot! The panels are easy to change and they're nice for control over the degree of wave you're going for.

I specifically bought this for an 80’s party but even since my daughter has used it. Super fun!

Perfect for a 90s party I went to - way faster and more effective than the one I had as a kid! I was surprised. I have very long, thick hair and I was able to crimp my hair quite thoroughly in about 25 minutes. Worth it for sure, I was dressing up as early-BMW Topanga and I got TONS of compliments on my hair!

I like it so much，easy to change different pattern. I use it almost everyday. I would like to recommend to anyone who want to buy a hair iron.

I love this thing! I have fine, thin to medium long hair that can look flat and doesn't hold curls very well. This crimper adds volume and texture like crazy! I have tried all three crimp plates so far, but not the straightener one yet. I have only used the second heat setting on myself (160C) and it really lasts. The photo is from crimping most of my hair with the 5 row plate the night before and sleeping on it. The texture remains until you wash it out. I've used the lower setting on my two girls and that holds as well. I like that I'm only having to hold the crimper shut for a second or two and achieving lasting results. I have been crimping the sections below my crown for volume and I love the look, but I also like to go nuts and crimp more! I'm finding that the added volume at the roots is allowing me to get one more day in between washes because my hair isn't laying flat against my scalp, added unexpected bonus! I'm getting a heat protectant spray because I'm using this thing way more than I expected to.Pros:The crimper itself is sturdy and I love the interchangeable plates, this was my main reason for purchasing this particular iron.The swivel cord is a must on any electric toolHeats up quicklyDoes not need to stay on (my) hair for more than a second or two and I don't have to squeeze hard. (Crimp in small sections)The wide plates allow me to get a lot done very quicklyOnly possible con:The outer plastic cover slides that hold the metal plates in, "feel" like it could wear out quicker than I'd like. The slides edges (pictured) are a bit thin. I'm hoping that this is not the case because I am really enjoying this little crimper. Will update

This crimper flat iron is fun to use!It comes with 4 sets of plates: 1 flat and the other three are crimping (fine medium large) so you can swap out for the desired look.The plates get hot (obviously), so I don’t gangs the plates until it cools completely.Note: when you install the plates, they must match perfectly so you have to pay attention to the orientation.The temperature is easy to set with the single button that cycles through the preset temps plus off.The flat plates have are larger surface for straightening and you can still rotate the iron to make some curls, albeit slightly larger curls due to the width of the tool.Overall, easy to use and great options to change the texture of the hair with.

Should have known from the weird pictures that I overlooked, I trusted the description that said it was ceramic. When i received it, it clearly was titanium iron. Did not want to try it as I wanted ceramic platesTried to slide off the covers, one side was easy, the other side, I could not even pull it off.

Wow I find this kind of plywood for a long time, finally let me find out on amazon, that's great, can't wait to open the money with, to feel a little heavy, other are all very good, it has a few replacement board, I tried to generate type fine hair looks a lot more
