I have arthritis of the big toe and these have proved excellent support. They are very comfortable with very good cushioning. The roll effect is very good for protecting my arthritic feet. The quality of the shoe is generally also very good.I do find, however, that the base is too narrow which makes it a little unstable. I have had a number of stumbles and, as an elderly man, my reflexes are not as as good as they were and I have had a couple of falls. However, the shoes are otherwise so comfortable and protect my toe that I continue to use them but with more care. This is not because of the roll effect since I have a pair of Exerstep Whirlwind shoes with a similar roll but these do not result in instability ( and are less than half the price).

These shoes are brilliant I bought them for my dad and he say's they are comfortable and help his back pain.
