Spode Christmas Tree Large Oval Platter
Featuring the iconic Spode Christmas Tree design, this is a very functional piece, serving in a variety of ways. The platter has an ornate edge which adds interest. It measures 17 1/2 x 13 3/4 inch so it holds and attractively displays a large quantity of food. It can be used for everything from turkey slices and drumsticks, appetizers, squares of cornbread or cookies. Since manufacturing in England stopped in 2009, sometimes quality issues have appeared, but the platter I received is well finished without any flaws or rough spots. And, the included gift box is sturdy so it provides a safe place to store it in the off-season. Beautiful.
